Jack Wilshere
In?
Out?
Or typical a West Ham spending money on a crock?

I hope the new quack is our most important signing and he keeps our crocks in working order.

And anyone else's crocks we sign

If we get Wilshere......

AND

He stays fit.

Could be our most exciting squad since I can remember.

Just not sure with Wilshere though. We already have our in-house crock. Do we need two?

I have not seen enough of Fletcher but what I have seen I like,Bilic won't give him any time to show all.

Re: Jack Wilshere
it's good when you have such depth in a squad that you even forget about some players, especially good ones.

I'd expect some good cup runs with a squad like this providing they all sign

Can see the Press Release when he signs''Stood in the Chicken Run with his Grandad when he was a kid''

Re: Jack Wilshere
Meant to mention Noble as a rotation player, and seem to have forgotten about Ayew entirely, who I'm quite interested to see what he's capable of with an injury free season

Re: Jack Wilshere
Exactly.

Plus, it's not like a first XI will play every game of the season. With the upcoming signings, we're about to assemble the best squad I've known in my time. With back ups of Fonte/ Og, Cresswell, Kouyate, Fernandes, Sakho and Carroll, we'll have a strong bench too.

Also, it's quite a fluid formation which could easily turn into 4 at the back if necessary

Re: Jack Wilshere

I like the look of that 11. Questionable on how many times Wilshere will start and I'd not see him doing 90 minutes too often unless his injuries really sorted themselves out.

Seen a few people putting Kouyate in instead of Obiang. It's Obiang for me.

Kouyate on the subs bench with Noble, Carrol, Ayew

Kouyate can slip in to defence as well if we need to get men behind the ball. Ayew offers an attacking option and Carrol is useful as an impact sub

"Fuck me he was not even getting a gig with Bournemouth by the end of the season"

Bit difficult to play with a broken leg!

**loam would be good**

True. It drains well and doesn't clog up in the wet as clay soils do,

It cracks me up how we ALL, myself included, treat any deal as if it were our own money !

Re: Jack Wilshere
A low fee and pay as you play deal and i'd be happy with this. A loan with an option to buy is out as his contract is up next summer.

Anyone who thinks Wilshere isn't good enough for us, obviously doesn't know anything about football.

Fuck me he was not even getting a gig with Bournemouth by the end of the season… and they was winning well without him… Walcott all day long… Wilshire…. Naaaaah

Re: Jack Wilshere
Loan with option to buy on reasonable wages and incentives would be an absolute no brainer for me. Quality player. Deal must be structured with his injury record in mind.

Re: Jack Wilshere
Great if there was a guarantee he'd be rocking up for 30 games a season like he managed last year, but a big IF.

Biggest shame for me is the amount of absolute cunts that England have had to field in his position because of his injuries, as he would have been perfect internationaly.

Re: Jack Wilshere
Think he's a great footballer but personally would not risk it due to the injury record, would much rather spend the money elsewhere

Absolute attack.

Re: Jack Wilshere
With the regularity that our good players get injured after the arrive here, there doesn't seem to be much of a point in signing another one who already has huge problems in that area.

Shame though, because the guy had so much potential.

Re: Jack Wilshere
Only on a year by year contract. We don't want yet another injury prine player on high wages whiling away his time off sick.

LeroysBoots 10:55 Fri Jul 21
Re: Jack Wilshere
Carroll ?

I would prefer it if he was out of the scene, biggest waste of space I can ever recall at West Ham.

On his day, unstoppable, unfortunately you can count on 1 hand the "days" he has had
