3rd Test England v South Africa at The Oval
England changes ... 2 maybe 3 debutants
Toby Roland-Jones replaces Mark Wood (injured)
Tom Westley of Essex replaces Gary Ballance (a bit shit) at 3
Dawid Malan may replace Liam Dawson (pitch dependent)

Rabada returns from suspension to replace 'Lord' Olivier for SA in the role of Fast Bowler

Apart from Boycott's mind numbingly batting displays, the only other memory of him is getting absolutely destroyed by Michael Holding in Antigua

No it doesnt. They talk about cake and pigeons. Jumped up public school boys with a couple of northerners for fun.

Complete spazzers.

Never played the game, rarely if ever watch any

Can't miss a TMS though. The jigsaw gradually unfolds by description like a Napoleonic battlefield - a huge canvas of battles within battles

I do not understand cricket, and I can't detect the slightest incentive to do so.

Bowls is far more exciting

He was never anything but pleasant to me, but the rest of the Yorkies despised him. Chris Old and David Bairstow were particularly vocal against him, and there was the game where Illingworth captained against us and he and Boycs only spoke through a third party.

"Er, Bluey (Bairstow), would you tell Boycott to go out on the sweep please? (Bluey) "fuckin' hell, Boycs get out on't fuckin' sweeep'. (Boycott) "Tell that cunt if the ball doesn't come straight to me I'm not fetching it.

Hilarious.

I do enjoy listening to Bob Willis. Nasser seemed very amused whenever he spoke on the post test show today :.)

Remember the time Boycs was in th commentary box and Both produced the Holding over in the WI that ended with his off stump landing back towards the slips, and Boycs was asked to talk the viewers through that over?

Much giggling....Boycs left quickly.

Cheers , Crassus.
Boycs would be very easy to wind up as he is so in love with his personal results.

Can remember the only time I saw him bat live in a Test match he carried his bat for 99no
England lost but expect he was more upset about that one missing run.

Ag Ag Ag... great stuff Aggers !!! TMS has got it's twang back this series... really enjoyed listening to them at work... cracked me up on the 1st day when Boycs spilt half a cup of coffee down his cream slacks...

I like Boycott. One of the true greats. Aggers is just a huge fist. Achieved nothing and a snidey faux posh cunt with nothing appealing about him. Shoild be fucking sacked.

Sven

It was a protracted and pre conceived wind up about first class hundreds, he hit his 100 100 at Headingley, however, a spoof press release obsolved those scored in a South African v best of the world tour, they were all in on it including the scoreer Andrew Sampson

Had me going, Sir Geoff was incandescent, then Aggers revealed the wind up

Bloody funny mate, I will see if I can get a link from somewhere, went on for about ten minutes

What did Aggers say to Boycott?

Was it lighthearted ?

Or did he mention DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Roland-Jones 8 wickets & once out for 48 runs
Presume he was the overwhelming MOTM choice

Good debuts by 2 of the 3. Presume Malan will get a second chance

Having played with Aggers (for Surrey) and against him when he was with Leics, I got to know him well. He's a good lad.

If you haven't met him or don't know him, don't call him a cunt for no reason.
