Last minute holidays.
I'm looking to get away Sunday/Monday but struggling to find a decent website with good last minute offers, any knowledgable folk on here?

Tried the usual suspects such as teletext and last minute and they bump the price up by a grand over the advertised price!

Re: Last minute holidays.
Thompson and Thomas Cook both have late price deals .

The price includes baggage (40 kg per person from memory) and transfers.

Use skyscanner, but only just as you're about to book. Cookies will mean the price rises when you next visit, and they track popular searches and raise prices. They make their money by sharing their data with airlines, meaning the prices will also rise on individual airline websites.

Anyway, find your cheapest flights on there, then book a hotel on booking.com, or AirBnB for about half the price of a hotel. I've done AirBnB for the past 6 trips, and it's been head and shoulders above any other hotel experience. But if you're looking for resorts, booking.com or trivago are your best bets.

I'very used Travel Republic a few times, always found them good to deal with.
They do use Thos Cook for some flights though - you have to watch them, they are past masters at turning a drama into a crisis. Check and check again.

I suspect they'll all be fairly pricey though, it's the Summer holidays after all.

A lot of people have still got more money than sense.

My brother in law is such a div. He told me he had a quote for two weeks in turkey for 6000 quid for the family. I showed him how to get the same flights and a much better hotel in the same resort for three grand. He still went ahead with the booking.
