WHO Poll
Q: 2018/19 Wolves (H)
a. At last we have a win now let's make it two, Win
b. A win against 10 men and two leagues below us is fine, but this will be much harder I'll take a point, Draw
c. Who are we kidding, a win against Wimbledon and all is rosy, forget it we're getting our arses kicked in this one, Lose
d. It's at times like these when you really do miss Love Island
e. I was all over this game until I found out it's not on the box, the broadcasting companies really don't care about us hard core fans do they, I might pop off to Thorpe Park for the day instead, obviously in my WHU shirt

Noble future...
Done many a time I know but given our signings, the return of Antonio and the improving Fernandes I can't see any justification for starting with Noble any more. We allknow his limitations as well as his dedication to West Ham likewise his well earned respect as a West Ham boy through & through however picking himto start I really believe would hamper our season and show Billic really is regresssive rather than progressive.
You really can't shoehorn him in yet I expect Billic to do just that in an Antonio at RB persistence until everybody is on his back to give it up when it's too late.
Lets see and hope he see's sense...

Reid should not be the captain. Altona red card aside, he just doesn't have leadership qualities on the pitch. He's a good defender mind.

Zabeleta is a good shout. The bit about him putting a boot up fletcher's arse for not executing a finish is something we could use more of.

Noble will be great this season.

Agreed. It will be a huge shame if the players we have brought are compromised by us getting continually over-run in the middle.

Never going to happen but I would have loved to get Matic.

Yep, Noble would make a good club captain.
Zabaleta team captain.

I'll be amazed if we don't bring in another central midfielder in this window.
We look incredibly weak in this area. How often last season did we see us lose possession upfield and teams run straight through our pedestrian midfield.
I found it depressing to watch Noble trying to scramble back, looking like an old farmer in wellies running over a muddy ploughed field. He needs replacing.
Some decent signings so far, but if Sully doesn't address the midfield problem it will have been a disappointing window for me.

Re: Noble future...
I think the basic thinking within the club is that Noble is fine and will start every match if fit. I agree with the discussions here over his worthiness, but I don't think any such discussions are happening within the club.

Oh yeah, Reid would make a great captain.

I mean look at how he handled all that pressure plus a chippy ref against the mighty Altona.

They should be playing every game. The most definitely should be playing in most of the games and most of us on here don't actually think Nobes should be playing hardly any....

Noble can be club captain, club captain's don't have to play every game.

Re: Noble future...
Surely a big issue here is who is captain. I fail to see how our captain can be a 'bit part' player. The leader has to lead on the pitch. It's now time to give the captaincy to Reid. Noble will play few games this year, we all know that. As soon as the captaincy has been taken away then the rest will fall into place.

Re: Noble future...
I agree with Sir Alf. You need to have confidence in your players and for me there are fairly significant doubts about Noble, Kouyate and Fernandes. I'm disappointed that Cullen has gone out on loan again as I thought he was looking pretty tidy in the pre-season games - I was hoping he would start to gradually take over Noble's role in the side. But Noble will clearly start the season in the team so it will be interesting to see how he performs and whether Bilic has the balls to drop him if he isn't playing well.

Fear not lads I'm here. Er indoors used the defibrillation machine to wake me in the end :-)

I will only say that Kouyate and Noble are not what is needed alongside Obiang. An opinion that some but most do not share I know.

Re: Noble future...
Wither the players we have available for midfield as of now I can see Noble being a mainstay for another season.
