Rory fits the profile but can he putt well enough for the 4 days?

Spieth has the putting game and looking for back to back Majors.

Nice one happy.

Fantastic tournament that deserved better coverage than it got. Picked up some good money on Jordan being top Englishman, top 20, top 10 and each way from corals paying 10 places, butbhsd to split that after he bogeyed 18. Great performance from him though, well pleased.

Good call.

Back in January, after he won three tournaments at the start of the season, I backed him in all three American majors. £5 at 50/1 for the USPGA, He played really well today, especially after hitting a couple of nervous shots and screwing up 14 & 15 which are big birdie chances.

nothing to be depressed about, embrace the shitness

well done with the bet. I like JT, he's a decent lad who should have won the US Open

This Jock presenter bird is crap as well. Stumbles over her questions and has a fucking horrible voice.

I hope this dirty fucker Kisner implodes tonight. Every time there's a close up of him he's doing this revolting dribble spit. At least Tiger spat with purpose.

It's hard work watching this on the BBC the commentators are painful especially that soppy Scottish lass even Peter Alliss sounds bored thank fuck for the mute button

Agree 100%. I always enjoyed the BBC's full coverage of The Open, but this is painful.

They sound like a bunch of factory workers going through the motions on a night shift, counting down the clock.

I've almost dosed off a few times listening to Maureen, who is much better out on the course than in the studio.

they're not allowed to broadcast it at the same time as the athletics, not because they can't be bothered

Grumpster 9:58 Sat Aug 12
Re: US PGA Championship 2017
Cost them fuck all, as they were virtually given it as the golf bods didn't want sky having the monopoly on all of the majors.

More people watch athletics than golf, so it's understandable.

Cheers, but that's a bit shit ain't it, BBC must have spent a lot of money getting that and they can't even be bothered to broadcast it on "normal" tv!

I'd love to be on Day around now.

Old man has the Japanese fella, but rather have the previous major winner.

Kisner is bound to have his arse fall out and Fowler is the biggest bottle job going.

Last I looked, my one bet was on 15+ :o)

FMOB 3 in the top 5 but after about 27 holes would love if its that way after 72 but any payback is nice in these situations

good luck to all having bets this weekend

If it was just Aliss and Brown it would be fine, but the rest are shite, including James. It doesn't help that the BBC are not controlling their own feed. Hardly seen Casey.

Re: US PGA Championship 2017
it seems to me that Rory doesn't take direction well, haven't got a clue who coaches him but his decision to bring in a mate to caddie for him is very odd. spot on about DJ, maybe Rory should have a few sessions with the Harmans

andyd12345 1:19 Fri Aug 11
Re: US PGA Championship 2017
Mcilroys mega drives are pointless as well, as he readily admits his wedge play is poor. When DJ got to world number 1, anywhere from 110 yards in he was leaving himself inside 10 foot. McIlroy rarely gets inside 10 feet from anywhere off the green

Re: US PGA Championship 2017
My main bet was Spieth, and a did some each ways at longer odds on Casey, Finau (both good), Walker and Hoffman (both shit!)

Mickelson just takes too long now. when you're over analysing every shot its the beginning of the end
