Bilic
Before this gets locked how is it unreasonable to have, on a West Ham forum a discussion about the manager in charge when we have many, many threads about players who are contracted to us. There will always be fans for and fans against an individual and a forum is a place to air those opinions, whether positive or negative, it is the very nature of a forum. The fact it was locked was poor form in my opinion.

Whilst it will be easy for some posters to say "all this after 1 loss to Man U" they are forgetting the percentage of fans that have been saying Bilic is not up to the job midway through last season, nothing has changed.

We now have the players but whilst we have that incompetent friendly friendly chap at the helm we will do well to finish 12th this season.

Make sure you make a note of this as anything better if he is in charge come the end of the season will be an absolute miracle, he is out of his depth, clueless tactically and should of been replaced in the summer.

I said it 4 months ago and I will say it again, the biggest mistake we will of made in the summer was not replacing Bilic.

Now if people have different view and opinions that is perfectly normal and I would hope this is something that is able to be discussed on a West Ham forum.

“Latest news @ WHU, Unconfirmed at the moment so waiting on a more reliable source but it appears Bilic has now been Sacked
Will update soon”

“I have heard the meeting has taken place, Bilic has resigned, the players were given today off to prevent any info being leaked to the press”

Probably BS as he himself said nobody around to leak the news but positive if true.

I'd say if we play like we did yesterday we'll be down by March the latest. Too much money for the David to spend in the January Transfer window

If we lose at home to BHA 0-3 I cant see where we will get the points to stay up if Bilic stays

Re: Bilic
The truth is we had 65% possession last night and that does not suit a Bilic team. He doesn't know what to do with it. He wants the other team to have the ball, to sit deep and feed of scraps. And he doesn't even know how to organise that properly.

Slaven bilic nice man but an utterly terrible manager . As usual Sullivan opened his mouth up b4 lasts match and he's painted himself into a corner . useless tight arsed dwarf

Re: Bilic
If they truly care about the club as they say they do then there is absolutely no reason why they would not get rid of him today.

How many last chances has this guy been given in the last 12 months alone? It obviously is not improving and changing managers could actually give the whole club a lift and as we know in football things can change very quickly. We need something sharpish and getting in a new manager would be the boost we desperatly need.

You sure about b?

I can't think of a worse outfit than WHU in the Prem

I bet every other club can't wait to play us, home or away

Living here in Sussex most of the people I know are Brighton fans (hence why I am staying in today!!) and Shane Duffy and Lewis Dunk are really well thought of in these parts, good honest pro's who constantly get blocks in. James Collins type players.

However even Brighton fans accept their limitations on the floor so what you "don't" do is play crap airborne crosses into the area for a 5 foot 8 forward!! You need to run at them, split balls through the middle, movement and pace and to be fair in Chic, Antonio, Lanzini and Arnie they have that, they just didn't do it!!

Re: Bilic
That they are still pondering over Bilic just beggars belief, he should have been sacked in the tunnel after yesterday.

They must simply be ambivalent to us getting relegated.

Re: Bilic
I've said this before and sadly I believe its still valid -

a. if the owners want to progress the club, which means spending serious money, they will sack Billic and get somebody else in, with the relevant pay grade and progress

b. If they simply want prem survival year on year they will keep Billic because we won't go down although it may be close

The only thing between these two options is if they bow to fan pressure as I think they finally did with Allardyce. And the irony is, as much as I despised Allardyce and the way he made us play, given the choice between this crap and Allardyce's brand of football - right now I'd take Allardyce.

That in itself is such a fucking sad statement and says it all about our club right now IMO.

Re: Bilic
It's the SPIVS that need to go for the good of the club!
However they are not going anywhere soon and the club and players need a lift, clearly it won't come from Billic, he's had plenty of last chances to turn it around and has failed repeatedly.
No other club would put up with it any longer.
Time's up!

Re: Bilic
Sven, it's because they had a game plan that they worked on all week...to stop us playing

We just expected to turn up and for them to rollover.

Bilic is clueless....what the Fuck do they do all week in training.

He should have all of them in today working their cunting arses off.... I suspect they have the day off

Re: Bilic
The terrible thing is that apart from Knockaert and the journeyman Murray I'd virtually never heard of any of their players.
Yet they were organised and seemed to have a plan and some way of combining together.

I actually wanted to take a look at Matt Ryan as he is now the Australian national keeper to see how good he is.
I still have no idea as he had virtually nothing to do and was completely untested.

Re: Bilic
Have to admit I'm very surprised that Bilic is still in a job

If we are losing games like 1-0 or 2-1 But we are playing well as a board you would accept it as bad luck.

However we are being destroyed and taken apart by mediocre yet better organised teams......on a consistent basis

Every other club would cut out the cause

Not our lot...they walk around with their fingers in their ears singing la la la.

It's basic stuff not being done ...everyone can see that

We are going down unless they act..now

Re: Bilic
anyone have any fucking idea what the formation was, ir was supposed to be?!

it was 3 2 1 4 - no width so no place for arnie- thats why i only counted 10 out field players

Another performance which highighlts our piss poor backroom which thinks players volleying balls into empty nest is a gameplan..

Re: Bilic
93 - lanzini yes. Reid is an average premier league centre back and Antonio has spent all his career in the lower leagues so is required to perform on a MUCH more consistent basis to be genuinely considered a top player.

Hernandez is absolutely symptomatic of the flawed policy if the club. Clearly a very good player, clearly a superb record. But there seems to have been absolutely no consideration as to how he would work. Either one of two things - either he can play up front on his own or he can't a needs a Carroll to feed off.

If he can and the hope is he'll strike up a partnership with lanzini at 10, great, but after 20 minutes last night lanzini hadn't touched the ball and bilic signalled him to drop 20 yards deeper to come and get the ball. Our best period followed. He hadn't touched the ball because the two behind him were so fucking shit they couldntbget the ball to him.

If he can't and needs Carroll, then we need to go 4-4-2, but again our central midfield is nowhere near good enough. What happens is the defenders just bypass their dogshit passing and hoof it up to Carroll.

Either way, we need a central midfielder, and the board let us down badly.

Truth is, you could pick any formation with the players we have and each and every one has glaring problems and weaknesses because each weakness you offset exposes a different one.

I don't disagree the names look ok on paper, but it's almost impossible to fashion a decent team out of those names. But that's them all over, all names, all show, no substance.

Re: Bilic
The owners are fucking clueless unambitious lying cheapskate wankers.

Our manager, as honest a bloke as he is, is fucking way out of his depth and has no idea tactically; what formation to play and his preferred starting XI.

Our players have seemingly stopped caring. And a worrying number have suddenly turned to utter shit since we bought them.

Our problems are a mix of all the above three.

The ownership is the main problem though and they have to be removed before we have any real chance of progressing as a club.
