Sighurdsson to Everton for £45m
He's good but no where near worth that much!

No such thing as a free transfer, according to DG?

madness, decent player of course but would make the top players worth £200m a time, surely ut can't continue like this and would be much better if the cash was spread across the four divisions.

Didn't cut it at Spurs and I've no doubt the same will apply at Everton.

Great business by Swansea, worth in reality £20-£25m

Most likely playing for the fun of it. Got to respect a guy who had two years to go on a £300k+ per week contract. And gave it all up for his boyhood love. Still. Never mind. They (Everton) have spent a lot to stay still.

The money means nothing to supporters anymore; it might as well be twelvty thrillion pounds. Great player though.

If you mean Rooney, he was a free transfer.

they haven't spent anywhere near 200m mate.

keane 25-30m
klassen 24m
onyekuru 7m
pickford 30m (although 12 of that is in clauses)
ramirez 6m
sigurdsson 45m

i make that just over 140m.

and they've got about 95m back in sales.

Find it funny that a couple of Spurs rejects in Sigurdsson and Paulinho are going for such vast sums. Levy must be gutted. Neither are top players though.

is he half as good as Pogba? for me, he is so it isn't too bad a deal for Everton. I'd say at least 8-10 of that 45 is in performance related shit so that's the going rate now for a decent attacking midfielder who scores goals

unless they're owned by west ham, who'll allow them to fuck off for a sack of monkey nuts and a bag of oranges

Spent £200 million this summer. Sure they get a shit load back with the sales of Lukaku and Barkley. But that's a shit load of wedge to stay seventh.

He won't make up for the loss of Lukaku.
