West Ham will meet to discuss Slaven Bilic's future after being alarmed by the manner of their defeat at Newcastle United.

The club's owners want to take stock of the alarming start to the season which sees them bottom of the Premier League after three games.

The manner of their 3-0 defeat to struggling Newcastle has raised concerns about the response Bilic is getting from his players.

West Ham have brought in Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic, they also still want William Carvalho from Sporting Lisbon, but their arrivals have failed to improve the team's performances.

Bilic has one year left on his contract and West Ham will consider whether a change is needed after the meeting.

Rafa Benitez is one of the names that has been considered in the past.
