That haze on the south coast.
Something sinister or a natural phenomenon?

It was a cloud of deadly ammonia from the eastbourne blue rinsers all doing their hair on the same day.

Re: That haze on the south coast.
Bloke from Southampton University reckons there's no way that it came from France, as the prevailing winds were in the wrong direction.

Apparently, the haze is quite common on the north-east coast (the fog on the Tyne is all mine, etc) and conditions were just right for it down on the south coast by way of exception.

The toxicity of it remained unexplained, but he hazarded a guess that it was down to the chemicals from a phytoplankton bloom becoming airborne in the mist.

I reckon it was all those hipster vegans who seem to have colonized Hastings over the past 5 years

You have to change because your clothes are soaking wet in about 15 minutes due to extreme humidity , if you've experienced it as BC has you would know how bad it is

Westham67 7:26 Mon Aug 28 Agreed seen some ''mists'' of humidity in Saudi where you could not see the front of the bonnet of your car.

According to the BBC report it came in from the sea and 'previous incidents' have involved something coming over from an industrial unit in France.

I am sure the EU are right on it

Anyone who has worked in the middle east would have a chuckle about the haze craze,

I've worked in Asia for15 years currently in middle east Doha to be exact, I was told about the humidity in summer and I thought no problem. But fuck me did I get a shock .

Had a hazy day in mid July, driver said, it's going to get humid tomorrow. Woke up in the morning and I couldn't see out the window as it was thick with condesation. Walked out the block whoosh glasses steamed up immediately

Made a massive mistake of doing 10k round trip inspection on a viaduct my clothes were absolutely soaking wet after 15 minutes of walking, made it back to the station I walked from and had to be assisted getting down.End up in hospital with heat exhaustion on a drip

It's like that for about 2 months It's so dangerous that outside work is illegal from 11-30 to 15-30. The whole o huge pre world cup construction industry is working at night.

There is no fucking way FIFA did not know about this before they awarded the world cup to Qatar.you'd have player's and supporter collapsing in droves and some dying especially if they were on the piss

I checked my weather APP Around midnight last night and it was 35c 88%humidity

I saw a shape marooned off dogger bank
Full of the relics
From a d day tank
Weed clung helmets
Brine in their packs
Skeletal fingers on
Bren gun still scanning the flanks.

Looking for germans
Still fighting the war
Barnacles cladding their stiff upper jaw
Drinking a brew and eating their rations
Bully beef hard tack
Naval rum drunk with passion

Their names were Bert and Edwin
They never left
They dweĺl in a sunk tank
Off the juno beach west

They never come back
Werent recovered or saught
Their grave a sunk tank
On parade motionless
At Arromanche sound
Under seas of salt
