SIM Only Deals - Help Needed
Not got a fucking clue when it comes to all this malarkey. Normally just get a new phone, sign contract and use it.

Coming to the end of my Samsung S6 contract and not going to upgrade as I don't need a new phone as this does what I need so looking at SIM only.

I can see you get get 12 month plans or rolling 30 day plans which seem better if I want tochop and change usage or eventually geta new phone or sell mine etc.

I only uises about 300 mins per month plus texts and about 4-6gb of data so don't need anything massive.

Do I simply buy a SIM only deal and get my PAC code from current provider if changing companies and keep same number? Also, do I physically change the SIM, if so how the fuck do you do this in a S6?

I am on EE and their SIM only deals look pricey so looking around it seems Three do a good 8gb deal with 600 mins for 13.99pm and there is a company called iD (no, I aint heard of em either) that do similar for 10.00pm.

How the fuck does all this work then you cunts? Contract ends 30th September so do I give notice now and buy new SIM or what?

Sky mobile are pretty good in that they roll the unused data over to the next month

3 were doing 4gb of data + unlimited mins and texts for 9 a month last time I checked (couple of weeks ago) which is a pretty decent offer.

if there is a Mrs Cup of Tea and Junior Cups of Tea, take a look at the BT family SIM.

you essentially get extra money off for adding new users - each person gets own allowance.

I think 3 or us get unlimited calls/texts and 12gb of data - for £40 p/m or something... maybe slightly discounted as also got broadband but good service so far....BT use the EE network so if you have good service today, something to bear in mind

I use ID and the signal is great, as far as the OS is concerned, I don't think anyone can get a decent signal, regardless of operator?

iD Mobile are a mobile virtual network operator - just like giffgaff, Plusnet, Sky, Tesco and even BT. They don't have an actual network themselves but resell one of the real ones (Vodafone, O2, EE or Three).

iD Mobile is run by Carphone Warehouse and uses the Three network.

As well as price you might need to consider what the signal is like in the places you are most likely to be using the phone. Don't expect to get much of a signal at the OS - the networks give priority to their own customers and they're normally crap.

thanks for reminding me, just sorted mine.

plusnet are cheapest right now, better than giffgaff and better than what ee could offer me as a leaving customer.

Plusnet are cheap for SIM only. I just switched from EE to them and it was all very easy to keep your number and swap it over.
