Traore of Boro
Watching the channel 5 highlights of the Bolton game yesterday, exactly what we needed this summer, ridiculous pace and will to win.

Coffee is right. The general consensus when we thought he was a target was that he's a pacy headless chicken with no footballing brain who needed constant instruction during games from the manager and he only had one good game (against us)

I was one that said I would take him. Plays like Lionel Messi, but without the end product, apparently.

Don't know how true it is but I saw a report that Chelsea asked about him in the summer and were quoted 20 mil.

When his name was mentioned as a possible transfer target a couple of weeks ago, loads of people complained like anything.

In fairness I think the consensus at the time when we were allegedly considering him was that he was a bit of a headless chicken. Tons of pace, obviously, but little end product. He had a very good game against us last season, predictably, but appeared to lack any kind of consistency.

"little ma syndrome" :-)

He probably did have a little ma but meant to say "little man" :-)

Watched the second half ( Burke and later Cullen came on). Said the same thing on the Saturday Match thread.

I really think we fail as a club due to a collective lack of intelligence from owners down to management and coaching staff.

Bilic might have an impressive IQ and a degree or whatever . He could do with some common sense. I am assuming he has final say although recent events suggest that aint quite the case.

We can all see the weaknesses in midfield that have been apparent to before BFS was there. So slow to address it just as we were with the right back position. We lack pace in wide areas too and options from the bench later in games.

I expect we missed out Traore simply because Sullivan's little ma syndrome means he has to show he got one over the selling club and get a player valued at 12 million for 5 million.
