Guess there's no fucking point in getting the Xmas decorations down from the loft, let alone putting them up, then.

i'm putting my money on an 11-2 victory to catapult us from the bottom 3.

bollocks am i.

Slav will go with 2 upfront, we will be hopelessly exposed in the middle of the park and lose 0-2.

Huddersfield top of the league if they beat us 6-0

In 2008-9 Tottenham took two points from their first eight games and still managed to finish eighth.

I don't remember that, whoever the manager was at that time can't have made much of it or i'd surely have remembered.

What about 8-1?

Wrong!

A 7 v 0 win will see us out of the bottom 3!

I'll tell you whats more depressing, Palace have had the worst start in Premir league history and we are still below them.

It's even worse than that, Palace have had the worst start to the league in the top flight since Preston in 1924. And they are above us.

We ARE shite
It's that's simple.
And I mean shit.
No leadership...no plan..no nothing.
All been seen before of course..but still hard to stomach.
Difference this time.. you were all sold this next level bollocks..

Re: A desperatley depressing thought
Alex G, it's true that Tottenham did turn that season around after such a poor start but not without changing their manager. I think that will be the difference between us and them. We will stick with Bilic because Sullivan is too mean to pay him offf and we will go down.

What worries me is we looked clueless against a lower than average team

Re: A desperatley depressing thought
Thing is we tend not to turnaround quickly from a bad start. With west ham a bard start normally sets the scene for the season. Tomorrow will tell us more.

Turnarounds are possible. Here's hoping ours starts tomorrow.

2v0 defeat tomorrow.

I'll turn up, I'll sit in my new lower tier seats. I'll support the team.

I'll cunt off Bilic and the Board whilst the majority don't.

I'll go home pissed off.

I get what the OP was getting at.

If anyone can see us having a good season, I'd love a slice of your optimism. When the board treat the club, traditions and support we deserve, then I'll be optimistic.
