Sexism and class inequalities.
So a female student from Oxford stabs her boyfriend but because she is considered too clever for prison she gets 10 months suspended, not sure a male from the East End would have been dealt with so leniently.

Stephen Hawking could go on a killing spree and not go to prison if sentences are based on being clever?

Her parents seem massively wealthy.

Complaining about her employment opportunities if she went to prison is a bit rich, because if her heart-surgeon ambitions disappear, she's likely to be employing people in later life, not being employed.

I suppose those LSD tests were a kind of shit or bust move. If you blow a persons mind to smithereens maybe you can rebuild it was the logic I suppose.. Except it didn't quite work like that..

I thought we had to call them personality disorders now. They would not be offended by the word psychopath though: the ones I have worked with are proud of the label psychopath, as it gives them a raison d'etre for all the burglaries, muggings and murders they do.

Yeah, the Hare test. Hare's book is very good.

I've read the psychopath test but not the men who stare at goats and will give it a go. Jon Ronson's books are both well researched and very funny. Was it the Hare test? That name springs to mind.
How on earth anyone thought coralling psychopaths together, giving them LSD and naked group therapy was a good idea,,,

Them by him is also very good and eye-opener on Omar Bakri Mohammed who comes cross as complete chancer rather than a true jihadist believer.

Successful psychopaths tend not to kill people.

So just test everyone for psychopathy, and give the psychos the best jobs...

Zeb.

You would enjoy 'The Psychopath Test', written by the bloke who also wrote The Men Who Stare at Goats.

I also read the book wot was rit by the bloke who devised the psychopath test, but I can't remember the title. That was very good, too.

My memory is shocking lately. Senile dementia no doubt.

You might be right there.

I saw a fascinating documentary on psychopathy that centred on the a neuroscientist who was researching the brain activity of psychopaths (specifically low activity in the amygdallae) and almost perfect correlation with psychopathic personality traits.
Just our of interest he decided to monitor his own brain activity and found out that the he was one as well.
The quote:
"Disappointingly this was not a great surprise to my wife"
made me chuckle,

This drive of psychopaths is well suited to research as well as success in business and, no doubt, medicine.

"Disappointing my wife "

I deal with many different Drs a week. This would not surprise me in the slightest.

I had a boss once who rather wisely said to me, 'Remember the speccy, odd kids who didn't fit in and you gave a hard time to at school? Just remember many of those will be the Doctors you're dealing with now'.

Reportedly there are higher numbers of psychopaths in the medical/surgical profession than there are in the general population. I think this entitled, stabby little princess will fit right in.

She has ambitions to be a heart surgeon.

She just got a bit ahead of herself.

Now this really makes me laugh.

Want a pay rise ?

Go and fucking ask for one then, you stupid cunt. Just like the rest of us have always had to. I really struggle to see how it's my fault that some dopey tart is getting mugged off. Middle class white women whining about sexism is just bitches bitching because they expect special fucking treatment. How about a hoof in the fanny ? That special enough ? Cunts.

Not sure how Stephen Hawking would go on a killing spree unless he got a super fast and brutal electric wheelchair and ran people over?

Steven Hawking has been on a killing spree, but he's too clever to get caught.
