Lanzini AND Antonio confirmed in squad for Saturday
http://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2017/september/28-september/team-news-lanzini-antonio-squad-swansea-clash

Slaven Bilic has revealed that West Ham United will have both Manuel Lanzini and Michail Antonio available for Saturday’s Premier League contest with Swansea City.

The Hammers are eager to return to winning ways against the Swans this weekend and the team has received a major boost in two attacking superstars.

Lanzini has only been able to feature in one Premier League match so far this season for the Irons, coming off the bench in the contest with Newcastle last month.

Manuel Lanzini is back in the squad. He will be in the squad against Swansea.

And Bilic has confirmed that Lanzini, having returned to full training, will be in the matchday squad for the contest with Swansea.

Bilic said in his press-conference on Thursday: “Manuel Lanzini is back in the squad. He will be in the squad against Swansea.”

There was also good news when it came to Antonio, who was forced from the field during Saturday’s fixture against Tottenham.

The 27-year-old winger has recovered from the set-back and is also involved in Saturday’s squad, and could therefore play at the London Stadium.

On Antonio, Bilic added: “His injury wasn’t that bad and there was always a chance he would be available for the game with Swansea.

“He trained with us today and he will be in the squad for Saturday’s game.”

It appears to be good news all round for West Ham going into Saturday’s match with Swansea, with Bilic only naming Pedro Obiang as an absentee.

The Spaniard suffered a slight knock in the draw with West Brom two weeks ago and won’t take part in this weekend’s fixture.

The manager added: “There’s only basically Pedro Obiang, who still feels it a bit after the West Brom game – the rest are okay.”

West Ham will welcome Swansea for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday in their final match before the international break.

If he plays Carroll after his donkey of a performance against Spurs then he needs sacking.

Billic may be thinking about playing Lanzini and Antonio in a back four

Rather not risk either at the start and have the starting XI from last weekend but Arthur instead of Antonio and switchbarnur to the right

That should still be enough to beat Swansea butvwed have some game changers on the bench

The Carroll finger is so far inserted it's a lost cause.
Up to the elbow methinks

Sven

If all he has to do is pull his finger out why the fuck hadn't you bothered to suggest this course of action to Andy Carroll for the past 3 seasons? FFS, now you tell us!!!!

Am annoyed by Obiang and his slight knock that means he won't play for a month.
Pull your finger out and get on the pitch
We need all our players fit and available

Hold up, there are people that can't see that Obiang is our best option at CM. I truly despair.

Obiang's performances have been absolutely shit. It's a little understandable given his long layoff from injury last year, but he has hardly caught any flak for his performance this year

No Obiang equals no midfield. Noble and Kouyate leave gaping holes there.

Probably the strongest team we could put out although I'd probably go for cresswell in a back 4

Not sure why we'd miss Obiang he's been fucking toilet in every game he's played this season....including against the might of Cheltenham
Noble was very good on Saturday against a very good team kouyate not as good but far better than obiang has been in any game this season
I think obiang is turning into one of those players that gets better the less he plays

Re: Lanzini AND Antonio confirmed in squad for Saturday
What this could mean is that Antonio is still prone to pulling up with the same muscle strain and Lanzini is being rushed back too early. Bilic is desperate as we are for a result? My glass is dry as a bone, not even half empty these days.

Expect both to either stay on the bench or aggrevate the injureies they have. Lanzini may struggle anyway as he has hardly played and it takes a few games to get fitness. Mind you if we are 1 down after 60 mins both will be thrown on as Bilic employs his tactic "more attackers we have the more likely we will score" which has failed every time.

HE just does not realise the team and midfield especially does not work hard enough in most games and even when it does its lack of pace and organisation exposes it to counter attacks and balls in behind.

Obiang is a big miss.

Will be interesting to see what Bilic does - I think with Lanzini back he'll have to go with a back four again. He won't be able to fit him in with the back three with wingers in front of wingbacks shit we have been playing recently. At least I hope that is the case.

Re: Lanzini AND Antonio confirmed in squad for Saturday
So Lanzini was meant to be back after int break - he plays

Antonio limped off after 20 mins yet he is fit

Obaing was a minor knock who was back for Swansea - he is out

Hopefully starting 11 can be 2 up with 20 left and then give those two runouts

Probably both break their legs in training

A back 4 that has worked so well in the past 9 months or so?
