Terry Downes dead
One for us old uns Downes was one of the best fighters we have had he fought like a yank was as game as hell.

Met him at Sandown race course a long time ago, he did a lot of work for the Royal Variety.
Boxing had taken it's toll even then I'm afraid!

Can remember when he fought Paul Pender and one nearly every round and didn't get the decision.
