Exactly what I was thinking Franks. One mistake in 4 or 5 games albeit games we lost heavily in.

Usual short sighted thinking of old school managers that experience is always better than yoof when things not going well. There is another school of thinking that youthful players do not feel the burden of expectation from fans ( especially home grown players) and can thus perform better in difficult circumstances.

Rice will probably be out on loan soon. Same with Koeman at Everton though. Great youngsters who he never plays. A group that won the U19 World Cup too.

But our derisory bid of circa £23m was accepted at the death according to Sully. With a further 6 months on his contract having expired come January surely they'll be biting our hand off for that £23m.

Just incase of confusion the above statement may contain sarcasm.

If he's so good, why are a shitty team like Sporting Lisbon even thinking about letting him go?

Re: Cavalho for Portugal
We should pull out all the stops to get this guy in.

I like Ogbonna (and personally would play him) but if he's not getting a look in sell him in January (IF money is an issue which it SHOULDN'T BE), pocket 12m+ and get Cavalho in.

We have plenty of cover at CB (Rice, get Burke back).

Did he break up play?

That's what a team needs the most.

Passing the football is for cunts.

Watched him tonight.
Gets in the right places and runs as fast as he needs to.
Liked the way he demanded the ball and plays forward whenever he can with sharp passes.
Big unit as well and uses his body well to shield the ball and get away from traffic.

Would be a major upgrade.
SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT HIM INSTEAD OF PISSING ABOUT LIKE TWO BOB NOBODIES.

Looks a gifted player but I'd worry about his mobility. Doesnt seem to be quick enough for the premier league

Don't need him, we've got Kouyate.
