The last time we scored seven (or more)?
Have we scored seven or more since the Potts Hull City game? Can remember putting six past Brighton a few years back but can't recall any seven-goal efforts in recent times.

Am I forgetting any?

Have been at all the games in recent history where we have shipped either 6 or 7 goals away from home.

Cunts!

Remember one delightful season where I saw us score 8 goals away from home in 4 days.

3-1 win at Peterborough and then a 5-1 win at Bristol City.

Good times with Morley, Bish and the boys.

As a 28 year old life long west ham fan, I can only remember times we've conceded 7.

Blackburn, Man United?

In answer to the OP - no you're not. We haven't scored seven in a game since that windy day we played Hull City.

RIP Ian Hesford by the way.

The only other high scoring game in our favour that stands out was a 6-2 v Leicester at UP in 74. From memory Bonzo belted a 30 yard screamer into the top corner.

I think I was the only West Ham supporter who didn’t cheer when the sixth went in against Brighton. For some bizarre reason before the game I had put a tenner each at one of the stadium bookies on a 4-0 and a 5-0 win. Can’t remember the odds, I must have blocked it from memory!!!

I used to go to Upton park once a month years ago. (Due to finances and distance) - can't remember the year but it was the season Barnsley were in the premier league so i had that fixture pencilled in .... until we got drawn at home to Emley in the FA cup a week earlier so I went to that instead thinking I'd see more goals - we scraped through 2-1 and then put 6 past Barnsley the following week

6-0 v Brighton was the last time we played them
Vaz Te hat-trick
One a swerving shot that went through their keeper and an overhead kick. And a third obviously less memorable.

Think it was Newcastle home in 86, 8-1, and Hull home in the 90s, 7-0?
I was at both, only time I ever took speed at a game was the Newcastle one, took a Sarf African mate who was a Geordie fan due to family ties, first time he'd ever seen them live, we stood in the Chicken run.
Alvin Martin scored a Hat-trick v three different keepers too. Unforgettable night.

Re: The last time we scored seven (or more)?
The Sunderland game was at the height of the Bond Scheme protest and there was only about 10 thousand there, which broke some sort of record for our lowest league home attendance. I was there and they did miss a penalty, Don Goodman blazed over. I think it was 6 nil when he missed!

Re: The last time we scored seven (or more)?
Sunderland in the 90's was 6-0 on a sunday and I think they missed a penalty in front of their fans.

At the hull game, the chap I was with felt ill at half time and went home with the score at 2-1 :o)

Jackie Charlton ripped his shorts and changed into a new pair in front of the North Bank. Chants of "Charlton, Charlton show us yer arse" He obliged. Happy days.
