Re: your fav west ham moments and games
Started going around 1990

ST 95-07, odd few games up until around 2012 then moved away and stopped because I got bored of it all.

Fave moments - just a few:

- Cambridge(h) in south bank flooding on to the pitch
- FA Cup v Man U (Di Canio goal/Barthez)
- Ian Pearce v Spurs at WHL (broke ankle and ended up about 8 rows from where I was sitting/standing)
- 06 cup final (yeah I know) Just seeing WHU in a cup final was a dream for me - was offered 600 for my ticket 30 mins before KO - was never gonna sell it
- PNE away 03/04? in the championship - weekend in Blackpool and 100oc heat!

so many more but that is just a few

4-0 at Stamford Bridge.

The game was wonderful in itself, but it also stopped my Chelsea mate going on about how wonderful Doug Rougvie was.

Nothing will ever beat Reid's winner against Man Utd in the last game.

Re: your fav west ham moments and games
Only been going since 1997 so not as many to pick from but still a lot...

Di Canio at Man United against Barthez
Tevez against Man United
Harewood winner against Arsenal with Curbishley
4-0 against Man United the Spector and Carlton show
Lasgnagate
Ipswich playoffs semi at home x 2
Semi Final FA Cup 2006 - Villa park
Man United last game of season at the Boleyn
3-0 in League and 2-1 at White Heart Lane same season
Everton Away 3-2 with Payet
Ruining Spurs season a few years in a row in recent years
Spurs at Wembley a week ago
Millwall at home in the cup will take some beating though

Unfortunately none against Chelsea apart from the Di Canio belter where he celebrated saying Mamma Mia

These moments are what it is all about.

05 Nov 1966 D1 Fulham H 6-1
07 Nov 1966 LC Leeds United H 7-0
12 Nov 1966 D1 Tott Hotspur A 3-4

3 great wins. Still my favourite week of football ever. The shelf at WHL was carnage. No segregation.

Re: your fav west ham moments and games
I've been really fortunate to have been present at most of our most glorious matches, along with the dross, but being present at the Eintracht match, and the final a month later, has to be up there, despite losing.

I know I reminisce and go on about a lot about the old matches, but I've been to most of the modern ones as well.

Re: your fav west ham moments and games
Funny but my favourite game of the 86 season was the 2-1 win at home to Everton. They went 1-0 up then macavennie woke up,he got two and could have had 5 in the last 10 minutes. Ratcliffe was supposed to be the fastest player in the league and frank was giving him a 3 yd start and flying past him over 10 and Radcliffe was giving up chasing him.

Indeed, if only he could have finished the easier ones! I seem to remember that he used to beat half the opposition then put his shot wide!! One night he didn't do that was the semi replay against Everton, that's one game I wish I had been at.

If memory serves me right I read somewhere that some foreign sports fella told Dev he was the first footballer he had seen with "gears", by that he meant he would tease a full back and then bang he was gone. Probably best example is when he attacked Pat Rice down the left for Sir Trev's goal in the Cup Final. A truly brilliant player and the biggest compliment was Sir Trev retired that year because Dev was injured for the following season. The only player "on the pitch" I can think of that had a similar style to Dev was probably Ryan Giggs.

Re: your fav west ham moments and games
Plenty of mine already mentioned so I'm going to go for a very recent one. Everton 2-3 West Ham two seasons ago. Anyone that travelled up to that one will know how special and sweet it was. Especially the last twelve minutes obvs. As we now know you take away a certain tubby Frenchman previously crippled by their player from the equation and we just lose 2-0, but strolling into Goodison with confidence, watching a three act drama unfold and strolling out like it was expected was beautiful, verging on surreal. We walked back to the City Centre like the cockiest Cockney cunts you'd every hope to meet and not one Evertonian picked their eyes up from the pavement to meet ours.
