Hanging flags at the London
I’m in 215 and just had a flag made for me and my group. Does anyone know the score with hanging them in the ground?

I sit right at the front of the upper tier and below is a blank grey block, so I’m hoping no issues.

I think United We Stand was the most popular choice of wording but London Stadium would not allow it apparently. Naturally that went down like a lead balloon so I think the idea was shelved.

Don't mind a st George west ham flag, but find them a bit embarrassing really for some of them.

Please don't let us ever get the sort of flags those Chelsea cunts have.

There have been issues with flags being taken down and it is one of the things WHUISA will be bringing up with the cub. Our own WHUISA flag was taken down when it was not blocking any advert or logo.

Speaking of which did anyone see the big fuss about a flag on friday night? (Sorry if this has been done) It was in the corner between the East stand and BM stand. Steward removed a flag and then got tonnes of abuse and started filming those in the crowd giving it out.

Was there anything 'controversial' written on said flag? It seemed an awful amount of fuss to be made over one item by both the stewards and the surrounding crowd.

There you go PB
fans have been granted their wish to bring flags to the London Stadium.

Hammers chiefs hope the move will help supporters to feel like the new stadium is their home. The club, will though, have to approve any flag larger than dimensions currently approved by London Stadium operators. West Ham insist this move is aimed to ensure all flags and banners meet required safety standards.

In a meeting between vice-chairman Karren Brady and fan representatives the London Stadium match day experience was a key concern.

The club have entered negotiations with the stadium operators to allow fans to bring bigger flags to the ground; current regulations limit the size of any flag to 2m x 2m.

However to have any new flag approved supporters must contact the club 72 hours in advance, with West Ham confirming in their statement on the club website that the following information must be provided:

A picture of the flag
Dimensions of the flag
Confirmation it is manufactured to British Standard and is flame retardant
Supporter’s season ticket seat number

Re: Hanging flags at the London
This is based on the Cologne Hammers putting their flag up right near where I sit but being asked to take it down as it was over the electronic sign- the stewards said it could be hung up basically anywhere else.

Re: Hanging flags at the London
As far as I'm aware it's fine as long as they aren't in front of the electronic boards. (and probably any other advertising)

If it is, you'll be asked to remove it.
