IF..... England get it together for 80 mins, we are gonna slaughter someone. If we give up cheap possesion like we are at the moment, then we will probably lose to Tonga!

You've obviously got more faith in the England side than they deserve.
They will, at the very least, have a rough ride.

Isn't the reward for today's winners a semi against Tonga who beat New Zealand?
I can't see England getting through both games.

Re the Ryan Hall try (or not), I watched that heart in mouth, thinking it would be given. Could have been either way. I don't remember seeing a margin as fine as that

I don't think PNG can beat England tomorrow. In Port Moresby, they had a chance. Would have been an eye opener for the England fans to play up there. Melbourne will feel like home in comparison..

England are more than 'capable' of losing to PNG today.

I'm kind of used to Australia occasionally losing finals to NZ, but to lose one to England would be a major downer. If it happened, I would have to consider murdering Wayne Bennett.

It will happen eventually. England very nearly knocked us out in 2014, when England controversially but rightly had a try disallowed at the death in Melbourne,

We've lost to Tonga and Fiji in consecutive weeks.

Won't hear any excuses from me.

As usual (with the odd Kiwi exception), the whole tournament is about who is going to qualify to lose to Australia in the final anyway.

Lets hope so Cheezey and your prob right...still cant see England winning it though sadly unless Cronk,Slater etc come down with food poisoning or something!! NZ were terrible today and when/if England beat PNG tonight i think Tonga are there or the taking. Great thing about this world cup is seeing the 2nd tier nations lighting it up..no hopefully not tonight...although i dont think PNG will be as strong away from home anyway...now if we can just concentrate for 80 mins!

It's set up for an Australia v England final now.. Wouldn't be that surprised if England pulled it off. They are due.
