What a week it’s been!

MAN UTD vs SPURS (1230 ko)
Both teams will be licking their wounds as they attempt to make up ground and assert themselves as the nearest contender to league leaders, Man City. Spurs will surely fancy their chances away from Wembley, while Jose Mourinho will focus totally on ensuring all points remain in the north west. On paper, a cracking start to the weekend’s action. Home win.

Arsenal should come into this with tails up, while the Swans are above the relegation zone on goal difference. Should be routine, but Arsenal will be aware that Swansea have had the evil eye on them in recent years. Home win.

A second London derby in a week. What a way for us to go into this encounter! We have nothing to fear and should have a fully fit squad to choose from, if the ever influential Antonio has shaken off his rib injury. It will be interesting to see what the midweek victory over Spurs has done to Andre Ayew’s confidence. With Andy Carroll also back from suspension, we’ll offer strong opposition to the unfortunate Eagles. Poor old Palace still prop up the table and will continue to whatever the outcome of today’s match. Away win.

An intriguing one for the neutral. Huddersfield’s win over Man Utd last weekend will have done their confidence a world of good, which they should be able to take to Anfield this afternoon. Teutonic rivalry adds further spice to what could be an energetic encounter. Bestimmt ein narrow home win.

There’s always one, isn’t there? Mind you, Watford have become steely entertainers and are not to be taken lightly. Can’t see Mark Hughes smiling after 90 minutes. If other results go their way, Watford could rise to 4th spot at full time. Home win.

You feel that Citeh will be facing a wall at the Hawthornes today. A 19th century bus, if you prefer. You also feel that will be the only way West Brom will hope to take anything, including self-respect, from this game. The leaders have been utterly compelling in their play and goal scoring this season and there’s no reason to think that will change today. Away win.

Chelsea are still in the title race, despite rumours of discontent from the Bridge. The away side will be without the highly influential N’Golo Kante, but should still be too strong for the Cherries. Away win.

Re: Saturday football
Playing Alli and Son midweek particularly was madness given they don’t care about us or the League Cup
As Guardiola said ... The Harry Kane team

Mind you, at least we can all laugh at that pitiful Manc song:

"Jose's playing the way that United should"

Had to laugh at Alli complaining about Ashley Young throwing himself over as though he’d been caught
The little shit

Commentators wanted to lynch Alderweireld for backing off and letting Lukaku flick it on but the effort of DIER against Martial was pitiful

Christ. Man U and Mourinho and fucking boring. If it was any other team and manager. The media would be spitting feathers.

Re: Saturday football
Wish Mourinho would just fuck off. Every game he's involved in is the same boring shitfest.

The only good thing about the last, wasted 90 minutes was Eric Dier showing himself up for the Manc's goal.
