Ogbonna and Masuaku
Ogbonna seems to panic and shit himself with Masuaku in front of him!

these two in the same team at the same time is asking for trouble, Arthur cannot defend! would of been better bringing Arnie on for Cresswell.

We now need to be worried about defenders being injured!

Reid, Collins, Fonte and Cresswell (I think) injured

Given the err quality we have at central defence why are Oxford and Burke warming benches at various locations a million miles from the London Stadium.
Both have proven they can do a job for us.

Dicksie3,fonte got away with it ,that's why the ref gave the one against ogbonna, soft penalty .

Re: Ogbonna and Masuaku
Brain-dead defending from Ogbonna for their penalty. Absolutely no need for him to make that challenge.

Fonte did the same thing in the first-half, just before our first goal, but somehow got away with it.

Masuaku cannot defend to save his life. He gave away so many stupid free-kicks in the second-half.

I cannot believe how shit our defence is. They're awful. Fucking awful. They're costing us dear and our manager - an experienced and successful defender himself during his playing days - cannot seem to sort out the issue.

" Seems to me that fitness (or lack of it) is a major issue."

I think our century-long experiment of training in 6" deep quicksand is a failure. I doesn't strengthen the joints but wrecks them

Re: Ogbonna and Masuaku
This should just be about masuaku not ogbonna as well .never seen a premier league full back get beaten as many times in 45 mins as that cunt today.those who think he should start in front of cresswell are fools.

Re: Ogbonna and Masuaku
Never liked Ogbonna, he hardly plays a game without making one or more massive cock-ups. Should have started with Rice,

Why was Reid not named in the squad, was it yet another training ground injury? Seems to me that fitness (or lack of it) is a major issue.

Re: Ogbonna and Masuaku
I really rate Masuaku but he was diving into too many challenges. Like a lot of the players he seemed slightly overcooked, over-frantic, not composed.

Ogbonna has just been awful for 18 months plus, simple as that.

Re: Ogbonna and Masuaku
Zabaleta wasn't having a good game by his standards. By the standards of the rest of the defence, he was, though
