Whatever happened to managerial partnerships?
Clough and Taylor is the big one, and I also remember Curbishley and Gritt.

There was always a few around, but they seem to have gone extinct.

I don't think there's the slightest possibility of Moyes and Neville being greater than the sum of the parts, but it sometimes happened. Why doesn't it happen any more?

I don't read any of Baron Flyshitstain's posts. My excuse is he is extremely boring as a person rather than as a poster.

OK, probably should have worded that better. My point was I don't know you and we don't have much to do with each other on here.

Re: Whatever happened to managerial partnerships?
The consensus these days is that having the last word is a sign of weakness. It is a need related to an individual’s ego and as such an egomaniac will always feel the need for the power it thinks the last word will give them. Failure to have the last word will leave them feeling insecure and lacking in confidence in their own intellect.

The confident, secure in their own skin person will let the insecure egomaniac witter on.

Just watch this thread as an example.

Nope, certainly looks like you're the one desperate to keep this rumbling on. I neither know nor like gph. You're really embarrassing yourself and it's painful and sad to watch. It's not just this thread either, you're at it non-stop, you need fucking help.

Re: Whatever happened to managerial partnerships?
WP - This thread wasn't really up to much anyway and had certainly run it's course. Incidentally, it's not me that wants the last word. As I have pointed out several times, I'm just enjoying watching gph do just that.

Or is it different rules for posters you like?

If everyone thinks what White Pony thinks, I'll just drop it.

Let the demented little shit think he's won.

Do you want bullet points?

Or will you just retreat further into thick?

Re: Whatever happened to managerial partnerships?
Fucking hell. How to ruin a thread by being a complete cunt. Why do people do this? I wonder if Surface will lie on his deathbed when the time comes, smiling contentedly because he got the last word in the most pointless, boring, embarrassing argument ever to grace the internet. It would take self-awareness to possibly realise he has wasted literally days bashing away on his keyboard. Well fucking sad.

Oh look. The 'ner-ner, you are' argument!' Plus a resort to the exact same tactic (a desperate appeal for allies) that he just (rightly) slagged off H&P for.

Not very impressive from a bloke who reckons himself the cleverest person in the world.

Makes no sense to me.

Calling me thick because I refuse to fall for your 'trap' couched in terms of gibberish does you no good either.

If you have an actual argument, you'll have to spell it out with quotations and everything. Otherwise you are just being hysterical.

Try something a bit more compelling than, 'he was a rotter to a bloke that died' though.

Re: Whatever happened to managerial partnerships?
Do you think the mods would mind if we split this thread into two?

Much as I like seeing Surface run rings around himself, trying to project his arrogance on everyone else, I am actually interested in people's views on the original topic.

I don't know the answer, and there are still people on WHO who are quite knowledgeable and emotionally stable.

A single, corrected, typo threw you?

Or maybe you just can't answer the question.

I love it when you go into "pretend to be thick mode".

I have no fucking idea what that mangled mess of a paragraph means. I suspect it might be an attempt to present me with one of two purportedly binary options that are in fact no such thing. But it's dificult to tell because your anger has caused you to drivel.

I think you need to calm down and try again.
