Remaining league games in 2017
November
19/11 Watford (A)
24/11 Leicester (H)
29/11 Everton (A)

December
3/12 Man C (A)
9/12 Chelsea (H)
13/12 Arsenal (H)
16/12 Stoke (A)
23/12 Newcastle (H)
31/12 Tottenham (A)

Talk about in at the deep end for Moyes. On current form, we can reasonably expect 5 points this month and 4 points in December, which would put us on 18 points going into 2018.

January looks kinder (home to West Brom, Bournemouth and Palace; and away at Huddersfield), but only if we end the year with respectability intact.

This will be a long season.

Our final game of the season is home to Everton.

At least we can sacrifice the cups now to concentrate on the league. Will probably help us pick up a few points.

It's a tough one. He'll have to play other teams in the league.

Maybe he didn't think this through?
