The teams hate doing them from my impression, I always see stories about the Saints in the offseason being grateful that it wasn't them picked for the coming year.

I would imagine city will have some kind of veto when it comes to editing! Anything that is a bit unsavoury or detrimental to the club will be edited out, this is more a PR exorcise by them to raise there profile.

Is it just me that thinks this is another one of those ‘non arms length’ deals to boost turnover (& FFP) artificially?
Amazon Prime are granted some business rights in UAE on the proviso they sign up for this & pay the fee to Man City
Or is that too cynical?

The NFL do these on a different team every year. They make for some decent viewing.
