Clinical finish from Sakho sends Senegal on their way to the World Cup,
http://sport.bt.com/diafra-sakho-cashes-in-on-sublime-sadio-mane-pass-91364227994703

This bloke is our best striker and a nut job but does he have a future at the club?

Re: Clinical finish from Sakho sends Senegal on their way to the World Cup,
When Fit we have 2 Top Class Players, Carroll and Sakho.

However it is the When Fit Bit (Including Mentally Fit) That is a bit worrying.

Sort of given up on the Pair of them to be honest. I know there's not a lot of Loyalty in football anymore but both owe us a debt for sticking by them.

A fit Sakho would give us a chance of getting some much needed points in some very tough matches in the next 6 weeks or so.

He doesn’t want to stay and keeps getting injured, or pretends to be injured.

Decent player but I’ve more or less given up on him.

Pretty clear that he doesn't like being a small fish in a small pond.

Let's make it clear that he's a big fish in our pond, precisely because he's the best striker we've got, and that if he's fit, he starts.

If he isn't fit today, let him know that he's not in the team today because we want more of him tomorrow.

A small step towards our pond becoming the ocean.

The problem is Sakho is our best all round striker. Best of the players suited to one up top too.

All the others have significant weaknesses, wheras Sakho is 7/10 in all striker departments.

If he wanted to play for us he'd be our first choice striker

keep him fit enough to pass a medical and get rid in january

Can't believe there's still posters on here that would entertain him.

Take whatever we can for him in January and move on.

Re: Clinical finish from Sakho sends Senegal on their way to the World Cup,
People are missing the point in that there's nothing wrong with his head, he just has no interest in being in England and wants to live in France and doesn't even try to hide the fact.

He hardly celebrates ANY goal he scores including the one for Senegal posted here.

I personally hope Sakho sorts his head out and stays. I've a feeling the problem he's got with West Ham is all to do with money. I think his injuries have meant (probably rightly) he hasn't sorted out a new contract and he earns a pittance* compared to half the squad.

*a 'pittance' in dreamworld Premier League terms has no relationship to what ordinary people earn or don't earn. You are not going to bump into him in Poundland.

Re: Clinical finish from Sakho sends Senegal on their way to the World Cup,
Good finish, but as I'm a bit sensitive these days, it winds me up that the headline and the commentators see it as all Mane's work. Sakho only had to cash in, easy peasy, after all the genius stuff was done by Mane.

That said, it was a good pass, but it was just as good a finish, passed, under pressure, just inside the post.

Re: Clinical finish from Sakho sends Senegal on their way to the World Cup,
I would hope he is professional enough to realise that if he puts in good performances for us he is more likely to get himself a good move. But on the other hand, if he plays exceedingly well he could price himself out of the reach of most French clubs.

and with Pea out with a potential hamstring problem, better chance for him now

Moyes has already come out and wiped the slate clean on all players, this is Sakho's chance if any to impress and get in the starting 11

He wants to go back to France. Can't blame him if that's what he wants.

And he hasn't received a loyalty bonus and then gone on strike like the other frog.

As far as French people go, you'd have to say Diafra is rather charming.

perhaps if we had a mane in the side that could give him service like that

Re: Clinical finish from Sakho sends Senegal on their way to the World Cup,
There’s always a caveat to any half decent striker we have.

The one real gem we sign who was a pleasure to watch, and seemed an all round decent human being, ends up getting a career ending injury.

Re: Clinical finish from Sakho sends Senegal on their way to the World Cup,
He's biggest problem is he wants to play. Every match. And gets upset if he doesn't.

That's not really a problem, but an opportunity. For the right manager.

HE's a fucking disaster if the manager's not up to managing him.

Doesn't mean the manager's a disaster, if he's not up to it.

But, if the manager can't manage Sakho, he has to realise, and get rid of Sakho.

Re: Clinical finish from Sakho sends Senegal on their way to the World Cup,
Clearly very very talented, potentially the best forward we've had in a long time

However he's a sulky, sicknote trouble maker and nowhere near reliable enough, which is a shame because if he sorted his head out he could be a 20 goal a season man. In fact if we'd sorted his head and ravels and payets we'd have quite the team. But seeing as he barely even celebrates when he scores for us I think it's clear to see that he doesn't want to be here any more

His witchdoctor doesn't travel. That's the problem. Tidy finish, though.

Re: Clinical finish from Sakho sends Senegal on their way to the World Cup,
A great striker on his day, and a complete cunt every day which pretty much nullifies any other qualities he may have. Stolen a living from the club that gave him his big break. A definite 'hope he gets bad aids' candidate who should be fucked off as soon as possible.
