WHO Poll
Q: Manuel Pellegrini
a. A great signing for the Club and maybe the change of direction we all need
b. It will only be a great signing if the Board back him with decent funds
c. This is West Ham so it will only end in farce
d. I'm not sure about this one, I'll wait until SKY is back to hear what Gary Neville thinks, then I'll voice my opinion

Farnborough - remember this one?

I was in the North Bank - a nervy affair with a goal through a melee of legs for us - then a penalty for them - generously applauded by West Ham who were on the brink of mutiny.

Despite the dark cloud over the place Farnborough got a good reception.

As did Aldershot a couple of years later.

But not Emley. The dirty clod-hopping cunts.

Lab, this was the only time I've ever been in the away end at Upton Park. Was a great night!! Got very pissed, and missed the last train out of Waterloo home. In the Evo-Stick league now!!

Remember the replay, the queues to get in were massive so ended up in with the Farnborough lot. It wasn't a classic

I was at this. I think we were drawn away but the match was played at home. Seem to remember a strange atmosphere as was at the height of the Bond Scheme protests and the team being completely drained of any confidence. Also recall the crowd cheering for Farnborough at one point. We sneaked past them in the replay with a late goal also at Upton Park.
