Gold ensured there was a big song and dance about him buying the oldest F.A. Cup in existence, meanwhile the club's memorabilia still lies in storage.

Says it all about this trio of egotistical charlatans.

Most of us knew that meeting would just be a token appearance by one of the board misers. It's just all adding more fuel to the fire.
The sooner they're out the picture, the better.

Unless we were at the meeting we would not know exactly what was raised and what happened.Surely what is important is that whilst people have different priorities the common denominator is dissatisfaction with the Board. The March is to show that thousands are dissatisfied for various reasons. Why must we continually go round in circles on here.Lets all get on with supporting and getting behind the march.

what your all reading off KUMB are brief notes. The real minutes will be released and include stadium and seating. Apparently is was all covered so no need to panic that it was an opportunity missed

we don't own the stadium, that would be their answer to any question about structural improvements. obviously the bullshit seating system they didn't deliver and the breeze block/cabel tie scaffold stands could have been questioned but she'd have just batted the question away like everything else. they are cunts and can't be talked to

Reading the replies on the KUMB thread from those in attendance, the stadium and all it's issues were raised so no need for the histrionics.

Was the time to call them out and put them on the spot over the stadium regardless.

Re: Real West Ham Fans - Updated with notes from Meeting on 10/2
There seems to be a general global movement (so not a dig at our reps at the meeting - thanks, by the way, if you're reading) of going for quick wins, even at risk of jeopardising much bigger potential gains further down the line.

It's been the bane of my life for the past year, so can I make a suggestion?

If it's not been done already, split the requirements into 2 separate segments: "Potential Quick Wins", and "Long Term Targets".

That way two streams/groups can begin to operate in parallel, at their own speeds, and there's less risk of the club trying a cheeky trade off, such as extra hot-dog stalls against proper removable seating.

The placing of a particular requirement in a segment is not set in stone and there is likely to be considerable churn as each set of meetings progress (but the club must not be allowed to arbitrarily rearrange the lists (a typical delay/fogging tactic)).

Either way, whatever path is chosen it needs to be freely debatable, if only to keep everybody on-message and aware of what is (or, most likely, what is not) happening.

If it's all in hand...I'll get me coat.

What like asking to see the finances or asking Brady to give up her Sun colum?
They prob won't get another meeting or have the same momentum for another march.
Strike while the irons hot.
They must think we are happy with the stadium and so will the media.

We know they don’t have an opinion as they don’t want to renegotiate the deal.

End of.

The only thing they could go for in a meeting is an apology for the lies, which we’re not getting either. So again, waste of air time so they have focus on achievable matters.

Re: Real West Ham Fans - Updated with notes from Meeting on 10/2
Nonsense, ridiculous attitude. You get a chance to meet them and explain why the march is happening and why we are pissed off. It's not because of hotdogs.
As I said......

It should have been discussed regardless of what they can or can not do. The broken promises are a major issue for many.
They could have discussed what is viable, what can be looked into, whether the club will press for improvements when asked to renogotiate their deal by Khan and whether the club itself would be prepared to contribute.

No harm discussing it and seeing what their opinion is and their plans are. See how serious they are and let them know it is one of the main reasons of discontent. Or would you rather they think we are happy with it and will put up with it for the rest of our lives?

The group always said the aim was gradual improvements, Rylan.

Asking for the ground to be rebuilt or reworked will just hit the barrier of “it ain’t our ground” from the cunt owners.

The march for me, should be a big FUCK OFF to the cunt owners.

They group didn't want to listen or seek opinion. They said they knew best.
It's exactly this sort of attitude that will divide any protest and action groups.

I can't believe how many care about stewarding and fucking hot dog stalls. The ground is a heap of shit and the laughing stock of the league.

That needs addressing.

Whilst we know the likely answers why no questions on retractable seats and closeness to pitch etc ?
