GTHC Predicts, Away to Man city
West Ham collapsed against Everton in midweek, and they are another team that needs to see December as a kind of damage-limitation period, and then try to solve their problems in the January transfer window.

Their forthcoming fixtures are not exactly helpful from that point of view, though, starting at Etihad Stadium and then with home games against Chelsea and Arsenal.

Southampton and Huddersfield have shown in the past week how teams can make it difficult for Manchester City, even if Pep Guardiola's side still beat them both in the end.

I don't think the Hammers have got the personnel to do that, though.

Lawro's prediction: 3-0

FMOB! I have never seen Lawro predict more than 2-0, he must really think we are shit at the moment, which we are!!

I can never predict us to lose, and we are West Ham and every know and then we roll a big team when least expected...................................so 0-4 COYI

"If City are up for this I can honestly see this being the first time a Prem team scores double figures."

Don't be hysterical.

What is the definition of delusion. When West Ham fans on here still cling to small scraps of hope saying things like 'Huddersfield and Southampton gave City a scare so you never know'

Yes, yes we do fucking know. Both those sides are not only better than West Ham but they also have managers that are NOT David Moyes.

This will be one sided and embarrassing. I hope that it 3 by half time and City get bored and take their foot off the gas then maybe we might get off lightly with a 4-0.

You never know, FFS you have to live in the real world when fat lump Rooney can score an easy hat-trick against us just think what Aguero, Sterling, De Bruyne, Jesus, Silva and any other City player who hasn't scored for a year will do to this West Ham.

You know that Southampton only lost 2-1 in the 96th minute against them last game don't you? And had enough missed chances to have won.

City are having a bit of a struggle at the moment which might have something to do with going from 3 at back to 4 at back. I hope we soon revert to 3 at back...

If City are up for this I can honestly see this being the first time a Prem team scores double figures. The likes of De Bruyne, Sane, Jesus, Aguerro and Sterling could seriously tear us a new one.

I'd bite his hand off for 3-0.

Be amazed if it's less than 5 and I'll be even more amazed if we have a single shot.

I predicted 5-0 at Everton so for this one i can't see us getting within 7 of them

I've seen him predict 3-0 loads of times.

It's his code for a thrashing. It's the most one sided score he ever predicts.

Think he is being kind/generous, more like 6-0.

Having said that both Huddersfield and Southampton have just given City a fright, be interesting to see how we compare with them?

It's a confusing year all round.......you can usually rely on Lawro to have us getting beat, yet the "table" based on his forecast results shows WHU as the most overrated team in the Prem based on his forecasts. Maybe if he'd get back to forecasting constant losses, we'd start picking up points?

Re: GTHC Predicts, Away to Man city
Erm i was being a tad delusional there, that would be a 0-1 or a 1-2, and even our most optimistic of fans would be laughing at me for that!.

Fuck it, im having a bet on this as well, 30/1 or something crazy for a West Ham win.....................
