Arthur... take a bow
Absolutely outstanding against top side in Europe. Suggested a long while ago it’s a great position for him.
Great win, team performance and great individual displays from
him and others. We can do this!!!

Playing great as a wing back/winger.

Pace and trickery. Been very good on the whole this season.

Watching him run yesterday reminded me of the horse galloping in Black Beauty.

If we were to sign that Traore fella off Boro who we were linked with in the summer we'd basically have exactly the same player on the other side of the pitch as well.

He was Arthur today, but him at left back and he is Martha again

The best that he can do. Arthur does what he pleases.

Might as well get over it.

Can't defend and can't deliver a final ball. Huffs and puffs quite fetchingly, though, and every now and then manages a world-class, totally futile mazy.

He does SING well

Re: Arthur... take a bow
He’s got a lovely touch, God knows why he was bought as a defender though. He’s a singer pure and simple, though he does like to have one touch too many.

Gotta say a player hitting form is a sign of good management.
Looks like Moyes has told him to go out and express himself, some of the tippy tappy stuff is overdone but he’s having fun out there. Good for the team and fans! Seems like him and Lanzini link up perfectly, looking forward to seeing them both play together.
Arnie seems to be improving too, If he can get familiar with Antonio we could be dangerous down both flanks....

Onwards and Upwards....... COYI!

He technically gifted, and is really fast.
We've said it long back that isnt a back. So much better on the offensive play. May it last

Re: Arthur... take a bow
He was outstanding especially in the first half. Showed some great footwork and touches today but fuck me he’s a liability in the defensive 3rd. Fine in the roll he played today but definitely shouldn’t be played at left back again

After the way we fought against City and the way we played today, I am starting to believe.... IRONS

Re: Arthur... take a bow
His defensive duties were highlighted when he stood like a statue with everyone running out for offside... luckily enough Morata was so SHIT he slammed their best chance wide... like I said keep him over the half way line

I love the way he takes the ball forward, none of that boot it up the field

Re: Arthur... take a bow
Running and taking on a man he was better than Hazard today! End product ain’t the best but in a game like today he took the pressure off the defence. He’s never a left back but as a midfielder I’m impressed.

Re: Arthur... take a bow
Still have absolute kittens when he is in OUR box but is deffo an asset over the half way line... final ball is normally lacking but is a tricky muvver for sure

Re: Arthur... take a bow
He seems to be improving with every game under Moyes (or possibly with Psycho's influence)

He certainly looks to be gaining more confidence in his attacking ability, even if he can't defend

I might be wrong but I don't recall Bilic playing him as a left wing back or left winger. Most of the time under Bilic, he was a reserve left back as cover for Cresswell

Both him & Cresswell were superb this afternoon

Great game today.
Oddly though l've seen a few suggesting Moyes alone has switched him to a winger as if Billic never played him there.

Re: Arthur... take a bow
Glad he is finally being given a run of games.

Made himself one of the first names on the team sheet as he is one of the few with pace, trickery and one of the few that can create.
