Bitcoin Cash. I remember that. Was gonna replace Bitcoin. Now worth 0.66% of a Bitcoin.

the utility is in the underlying blockchain not the crypto itself
so bsv can do micropayments that its not worth the time for mastercard or visa, a few cents transactions - who needs that? well any new game videos media output etc you could try b4 you buy for a few cents bsv can do that now
also other things like digital currencies and money giving people with no bank accounts access to digital cash lots of w3 and nft stuff too

Re: Bitcoin
It's just like tulips innit? They can just print more of it, it's a scam! It's controlled by lizard people. It's a bubble! It's going to burst! You're all fools while I get my 0.0000001% interest from my bank in a currency that is devaluing at a much faster rate! It's killing the planet, it must be stopped to help the poor little dolphins! It's going to zero, it's inevitable. I know I said that last year and the year before and actually every year for the last ten years but it is going to zero and you aint gonna make a penny! It's got no use, how can it be worth money? It's not useful like my paper pound notes. I'd rather have gold because you can actually do stuff with it. Well I cant, but someone can. Well I dont know anyone but they exist. I can't take it abroad or anything though or have it in my house but it's much more useful than them bittycoins. You're all idiots! I keep coming back to the thread to tell you this, because I want to help you. It's not because I'm rattled because I dont understand it!

Crypto is like all other new technologies, web 1 had a bubble, web 2 had a bubble, web 3 will be just the same. 80-90% of all crypto / play2earn / NFT projects will be gone in a few years, just like Altavista BUT that doesnt mean that the whole thing will fail. The good projects will survive and thrive and the next wave, built with proper utility will have a much higher survival rate.

Just like when the whole internet started, it is the wild west and not for the faint hearted. I enjoy it though and have made much more than I have lost.

Vexed nails it

AsEither Reputable Exchange

Or Treznor Wallet

With any required Paper codes in rented secure safe deposit box

It’s money. Don’t leave it out to be nicked !

Re: Bitcoin
You are much more likely to lose your crypto if you take it off an exchange and leave it a software wallet on your PC. You're actually better off leaving it on a reputable exchange than doing that. Hardware wallet if you want to get it off an exchange with the seed phrase stored somewhere away from your wallet, preferably another address.

Agreed. Got done big time Mt Gox back in the day

Would genuinely have tens of millions now. Ah well. Like my dreams etc …

Re: Bitcoin
Good Point Bill. Anyone with Crypto should move it off exchange and into a personal wallet stored on your pc. Just don't lose the security key as then your fucked.

Re: Bitcoin
BSV of all the bitcoins has the real value cos theblocksize allowable is massive therefore the miners can still make money when the mining fees halve as they are taking a small cut of a huge amounts of transactions

agree about the rest

coinbase also in trouble cos they are counting customer assets as part of their liquidity and wont repay any of they go bust like a bank without the 75k guarantee

Turpinator 2:50 Fri May 13
Re: Bitcoin
Agreed, but Bitcoin does have an intrinsic value connecting with mining and the periodic changes in how much it takes to create a coin. Think of it as a company that buys back its own share, but in Bitcoins case this just goes on and on and raises the intrinsic value. Jp Morgan recalculate this every now and then and its current value is around 24K.

As for the others, Ethereum apart, getting ones head around what represents value is nigh on impossible, unless they are a listed such as Coinbase. That's why Technicals is the only way to do this with any structure and method and thereby confidence.

Interesting stuff - i find it hard to understand how the same mathematical modelling and logic that is being applied to tangible asset classes is made to fit these crypto's most of which have no underlying utility ie theyre just tracking shit

Craig Wright is going after BTC BCH for using the name Bitcoin without adhering to the White Paper that could have a huge effect -

Re: Bitcoin
I have my studies and code on various software platforms and use a Slack channel that covers all asset classes worldwide that looks after and advises my client base. The crypto video is out there in free space because an old acquaintance who works at investing.com asked me for some content.

I also have some weekly commentaries and interviews on China's equivalent of Cnbc or Bloomberg tv on Oil, Precious Metals and Grains.

The Crypto one comes out on You Tube Friday nights or Saturday morning

People are wising up to ADA. It's the biggest scam in crypto. Seven years in still no real utility. Its outrageous really.

Hermit Road 9:40 Fri May 13
Re: Bitcoin
The ADA I bought yesterday is up 34%.

I expect another dip to the mod 40s before a steady rise to $4 in the summer.
