Champions league draw.
Naturally if G & S had kept their promises we would have been in it this year but maybe in 2 years time. 🙂

Anyway Madrid vs PSG will be a good watch and it will be nice to watch Chelsea get knocked out. An added bonus would be the old lady knocking out Spurs as well.

I’d want Chelsea and Spurs to lose if they drew ISIS FC or Paedo Rovers.
These are teams we play and they earn by progressing.
The ideal situation for me would be defeat for both and season ending injuries for several of their players.

Plus I actually don’t mind Barca and Juve and would rather watch them v Real and PSG later on.

Re: Champions league draw.
The best European Cup game was when they put all the teams in a hat and they drew out Nottingham Forest v Liverpool in the FIRST ROUND
And Forest put the cunts out

The best Champions League game was when Iniesta scored in the last minute at Stamford Bridge and put Chelsea out. Before Drogba appeared in his flip flops for a bit of post game analysis of the referees performance

The rest is fairly tiresome 95% of the rest of the time and nowhere near as good as it thinks it is.
As long as Juve and Barca go through I think most will be happy

If you are successful you need a big strong squad and we haven't anywhere near a squad strong or big enough to compete.

As for 3rd place in the CL getting a Europa spot - ban that for a start, you were entered in to a competition, you were eliminated - the end

I think in this day and age, with so many great teams across Europe, having just the Champions of each league wouldn’t be enough. Most people surely want to see the best play the best and, despite the group stage being pretty pointless, there are some outstanding ties in the last 16.

Real Madrid vs PSG should be two cracking games.

The Europa League, however, is a shower of shit.

European Cup and the Cup Winners Cup used to be brilliant competitions.

And then they made them leagues with far too many teams, of which most of them haven't even won the league or a cup and they're shit now.

I like an occasional bit of CL football myself. The group stages are meaningless shite in the main, obviously. Great opportunity to see Spurs and Chelsea get humiliated in the knockout stages though.

I couldn't care less about the CL that is a competition where the majority of teams are NOT CHAMPIONS. Bring back the European Cup
