Bristol City vs Man U
Bristol City are playing some decent football and having a good go against a strong Man Utd team, funny how they can do it with a squad that maybe cost a few million and we could not last night!

Bristol City are away to Watford in the third round of the FA cup.

They will be busy.

Why would you bother watching other teams in the shitpot cup?

They sound gutted to have drawn Man City.

Their manager looks distraught at what's happening.

BRISTOL CITY'S PLAYERS, FANS, COACHING STAFF AND CLUB DIRECTORS WILL REGRET KNOCKING-OUT MAN UTD TO REACH THE SEMI-FINALS OF A MAJOR CUP COMPETITION FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES!

THANK FUCK WE THREW-IN THE TOWEL LAST NIGHT TO CONCENTRATE ON SOLIDIFYING OUR CHANCES OF FINISHING 15TH IN THE LEAGUE!... THAT'S ALL I CAN SAY!

Winning is a good habit in football. Confidence grows and you play better.
West ham haven't tried that for a long time.

If only our relegation battlers had an ounce of the passion of that Bristol City ball boy. Maybe we’d have had a shot in open play.

They won't be so happy tomorrow when they realise that by beating Man Utd they have fucked all chance of promotion. Players tired, injured with less than three days before they play again. Idiots.

Re: Bristol City vs Man U
BUT, WHAT'S THE POINT?!

THEY CANNOT (CANNOT) POSSIBLY GO FOR THE CUP AND CHALLENGE FOR PROMOTION AT THE SAME TIME.

THE DOMESTIC LEAGUE IS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT... THE BREAD AND SPREAD.

I BET MAN UTD WILL JOIN IN WITH BRISTOL CITY'S CELEBRATIONS TONIGHT AS IT'S SUCH A SHIT COMPETION THAT I BET THAT THEY'RE GRATEFUL TO GET KNOCKED-OUT!... THEY'VE DONE THEM A FAVOUR!

Bristol City's Jamie Paterson looks a good player. If you remember,he's the bloke who scored a second half hat trick for Forest when Allardyce fielded a team of youngsters in the FA Cup and lost 0-5. Another example of West Ham taking cup games seriously.

At least one unfashionable club has made it to the semi finals.

The last time Bristol City got to the semi finals was in 1989, when they lost to Forest. The other semi final was West Ham v Luton.

Fucking lovely.

And how well they played. That's the kind of manager we need.

Fighting for promotion, but goes all in to beat manouvre in the QF.

Envy...

Moyes, this is what a big cup win means to the fans. City supporters will treasure this night for the rest of their days.
Just don't take the piss again in the FA cup or you can fuck right off.

Johnson 11:44 Wed Dec 20
Re: Bristol City vs Man U
By rights, Bristol City should now forfeit the next round as they can't possibly win so taking two 3-0 defeats on default is no doubt better than the hiding they'd get if they actually played.

Re: Bristol City vs Man U
At least we can stay up now. Imagine having to play two extra games against Bristol City and then possibly another game at Wembley?

Dread to think what would happen. Probably only finish 16th.

To be fair, there are a few on this site more gutted about tonight's result than last nights I reckon.
