Wish you a happy Christmas in the best sense of the term. Let’s hope our team plays its part.

EVERTON vs CHELSEA (1230 ko)
The BFS formula has started to work and Chelsea will find this a far from routine game. Morata is suspended, so there may be little to separate these teams. Away win.

BRIGHTON vs WATFORD
Will Brighton’s missed penalty at Burnley last time play on their minds? Something’s been playing on Watford minds since Ronald Koeman was sacked by Everton. A hard-fought draw.

MAN CITY vs BOURNEMOUTH
It will probably be a team like Bournemouth that finally takes some points from this extraordinary Citeh side. But that may have to wait until next season. Home win.

SOUTHAMPTON vs HUDDERSFIELD
Charlie Austin has got the Saints scoring again. Huddersfield have struggled to score away from home and seem to be banking on home points to keep them up. But both teams will fancy getting something from this. Home win.

STOKE vs WEST BROM
What would you choose if you had to pick the most boring game of the day? Mark Hughes’ future is very much on the line, but Alan Pardew has his work cut out to lift his Baggies team out of the drop zone. Draw.

SWANSEA vs CRYSTAL PALACE
Former Hammer Leon Britton takes temporary charge of the division’s bottom team for this crucial clash. Confidence is high at Palace, but both teams will want to avoid being the Christmas goose in this battle of Swan and Eagle. Draw.

WES HAM UNITED vs NEWCASTLE
We’re without Antonio, Lanzini and Noble, but Cheikh Kouyate returns. David Moyes spoke in midweek about the role of youth in West Ham’s future – could today be the opportunity to give a couple of them that chance? Mitrovic and, as we know, Shelvey are out for the visitors, who find themselves in a wretched run of form. All three points are there for the taking. We just have to make sure we do take them. COYI. Home win.

BURNLEY vs SPURS (1730 ko)
Who’d have thought Burnley would be above Tottenham going into Christmas? This is a big game for Spurs, who have a undistinguished recent record against the Premier League’s top six teams. Tough to predict, so… Draw.

LEICESTER vs MAN UTD (1945 ko)
What a difference a new manager makes. The name of Ranieri has even been murmured in some parts. But before they get carried away, beware the wounded tiger. Jose will be furious after losing to Bristol City and will be keen to be able to focus on the league, as losing cup managers like to do. Win today and he can turn the dressing room music up high and celebrate. No disrespect, of course. Away win.

Apart from the penalty dive, is Alli going to have a should-have-been-a-red-but-wasn't foul every week?

Looking forward to the Dyche interview after this game. They have pretty much had every decisition go against them. Week in week out Spurs are getting every 50/50 call go there way. When was the last time you see them get one against them??

He was starting to go down just before the contact. You know, like Lanzini did.

Touch of knees and he does a triple somersault
Contact and a pen but the player exaggerated it
Like Lanzini.

Why would Alli get suspended? It was a foul. 🙄

Sven Roeder 8:10 Sat Dec 23
Re: Saturday football
Just seen the Spurs pen ... Alli draws the contact and is on his way down. If Lanzini is suspended then he is too .... isn’t he?
I reckon I know the answer already

Noticed during the week that Burnley when fighting Tarkowski’s suspension for hitting off the ball showed in evidence Lukaku doing something similar and not being suspended. Didn’t work

I can only presume that "Big Fat Johnny Hartson" has been on the free bar all afternoon!!! Blokes waffling, getting players names wrong, and generally talking shit!! This Michael Oliver seems to be doing Spurs a few favours again!! Ali should of been off, and the Ali pen, Again Ali instigated the contact, cheating Cunt!!! The old Leave the leg out and wait for contact!! Don't these refs watch highlight of previous games? Or are they really just shit??

Re: Saturday football
Proper dive from Alli for Spurs, and they win a penalty. Also could've been off for a nasty tackle early. On. I look forward to the retrospective action from the FA.

*cough*

Re: Saturday football
The exciting part of Stoke v West Brom is the sack for Hughes which surely will come if they lose.

Huddersfield won 4-1 at Watford in their last away game so they CAN score away from home. Suspect they have more away goals than us.
