He kept them up and then got sacked the next season but didn’t relegate them.
Ladyboy Harris took them down , a fact which I believe Holloway pointed out to the FURY of Millwall fans.

Yes, would guess it was all down to ONE of there relegation seasons, this from wiki....

In the 2014–15 season, as Millwall dropped in the relegation places in The Championship, Holloway admitted that he had become an unpopular manager among Millwall fans.[34] On 10 March 2015, following a 4-1 defeat at home to Norwich City, Holloway was sacked

Its also the only job Holloway has been sacked from! In this day and age thats quite an achievement considering how many clubs he has managed....
