"You are on a thread about Trump. Let’s talk about Trump. Don’t worry about whether i’m Too concerned about trump. Answer the questions about trump on the thread about Trump."

I was concerned before about amount Trump occupies your thoughts, this post, honestly, worries me at new real level.
Trump seemingly being the most important thing ever to you has warped your understanding of history to the point you were making consistent factual errors, you have lied on here for internet debate, and it as led you to make wildly contradictory statements about current media.

Case in point:

"Nor do all the right wing sites you visit
...apparently every other right wing site"

You have some pretty specific knowledge of what right wing sites contain (a lot more than I do).

This knowledge juxtaposed with your admitted ignorance of a prominent progressive site, would again really make any comments you made about the American media highly suspect.

Capitol Man 4:38 Sun Jan 20

Again, mate you can give bellowing commands on the internet all you want. I don't have to give any heed for a lot of reasons.

You have not answered why you apparently know the true impact of The Young Turks and yet are ignorant of them at the same time.
So I don't owe you the courtesy of answering your questions.

Even if I did feel obligation there, I still would not because I have told you : I don't think it is right to do so.

Thank goodness people like your self can't force others into changing what they feel is good conduct in regards to one of the major checks and balances of the American system.

‘My position is not inconsistent with the political value of judicial review.”

Do you even begin to get how stupid that point is?

Unless you are presiding over the case you are allowed to possess an opinion. You are clearly interested enough to keep returning here.

You just won’t answer the question because once you do then you can’t make it about the media or an over-reaction. “Sour grapes” was how putin put it wasn’t it?.

“Core value of our western system” - get over yourself and answer the fucking question.

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released

Come on now. Answer the question. You’ve posted hundreds of times about trump on this thread and you can’t answer that simple question.

But this gets to the point doesn’t it. You don’t want to talk about Trump. Nor do all the right wing sites you visit. You want to talk about the reactions to Trump.

You didn’t want to talk about the Gillette ad. You, and apparently every other right wing site, wanted to talk about young Turks.

And you have no clue how you’ve been manipulated to that point do you.

You are on a thread about Trump. Let’s talk about Trump. Don’t worry about whether i’m Too concerned about trump. Answer the questions about trump on the thread about Trump.

I know my repetition of the Young Turks thing seems to shake you into this and this your way of getting back

But your position on the Young Turks was internally ridiculous and its ignorance called into question a whole lot of what you have said.

My position is not inconsistent with the political value of judicial review.

It is a pretty clear difference and repeating it makes you look like you want to brush aside a core value of our Western system.

So again we can carry on tomorrow. It make you look much worse than me.

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released

You get that politics doesn’t just stop while a legal process is conducted? And that news doesn’t exist in a vacuum where nothing happens until things are decided.

Just admit to yourself that you can’t answer the questions because once you do the steaming pile of bullshit you’ve built comes down.

Canada

Did he Russians conduct an attack on he American elections of 2016?

Come on now. You can do it. Answer the question.

Do courts normalize crime?

But I guess I do get to normalize this because I don't have to make those determinations until I know as many of the facts as possible.

You want to I get that, I think it part of an irresponsible use of the media and the knowledge you do have.

Trying to move to this again does not change the couple things we have been arguing about.

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released
Again Canada

Did Russia attack the American elections?

Was trump perusing multi billion dollar project up at least iuntilmthe summer of 2016?

Did Cohen lie about it to congress?

And why won’t you answer these simple questions?

Canada - answer the questions.

Stop avoiding them.

You don’t get to normalize this.

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released
Sorry I guess my point is I am decently media savvy, I know basically what is going on. I have my views and bias, but won't deny something if it is proved. We are in media res on this, I have been here before (whether this is much more serious or not) and know I can't judge because as much I could read (and I did back then) I don't know everything. Need to wait for some real conclusions.

Browbeating me with this mixture of facts and speculation, decent media and some garbage, is not going to change that.

I will stay a bit for your thoughts but need to go to bed soon and will read what you got in the morning if that is the case.

Here what I think I expressed as my opinions over the years, including other threads on this general subject (from my memory, if someone can prove otherwise, I am sorry I forgot. )

- I would rather of Trump not have been the nominee but I supported him over Clinton. Glad I did not have to vote for him.

- The Trump pre-investigation and investigations felt like the days of Clinton when talk radio was telling me, "Today is the evidence that will take him down." Speaking to the less vehement version of you, - "Maybe don't live and die on every story, this takes a while"

- The media calling everyone who was considering voting Trump bombastic names (honestly similar what you do) helped get him elected.

- Trump being an awful human being sometimes, does not give journalist the right to abandon their standard. I talked a lot about what I thought were examples of that.

-Don't let this man have so much control over you, that abandon the principles that you might think he has abandoned.

- The move two Twitter-ish journalism and the use of Twitter period in political contexts, is a bad thing. Including by Trump

- Innocent until proven guilty summarized a good deal of my posts
I called people out when I though they were throwing that out the window.

- The process will happen and I will see what comes from it, if I have been wrong, I will see then. Mostly though my assertions are principle-based.

- Finally you argued with about media bias, and isolated incidents and how the left trusts better sources and that is to me is honestly undermined if you don't know about the Young Turks. You can't make actual judgement on the validity of the American media, without considering a major internet player.

My straw man has to answer those questions in this argument, not me. Again, I told when those questions would be answered for me.

Wait for my next post.

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released

Let’s go back to basics then Canada and start with three simple questions.

1) Do you believe that various Russians engaged in a conspiracy to defraud the United States in relation to the indictments of two sets of individuals allegedly involved in a social media and hacking campaign against Hillary Clinton?

2) was Trump involved in an attempted business deal to build a trump tower in Moscow through to the summer of 2016, and did he lie repeatedly about this fact during and after the election campaign.

3) was Michael Cohen convicted of lying to congress over the date the Trump Tower Project ended.

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released
Poke my head in and fuck me nothing has changed.

People still arguing as if socialism is a valid platform that will save the working class....what a fucking joke that is. Anyone with a brain can see that it is a tool of the global elite who use it to great effect as the morons follow their bullshit propaganda. Socialists centralize the control of money through taxation and fees and dribble some back to the people while keeping most of it to themselves. Look at all of the fucking hypocritical Democrats over here that live in mansions and yet only earn $175000 a year! Cunts.
And all of the Conservatives in the UK and a majority of Republicans in the States are not much better and in some ways worse. Cunts.

And also Canada is telling Capitol that he's not making much sense! This thread is like a time warp.
Hey IOC, Cap has NEVER made sense.....he's one of the dolts that think socialism actually works! No, don't laugh, it's true. There are actually people that think left wing politics work.

It never has and it never will.

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released
Capitol Man 2:30 Sun Jan 20

Again, Mueller will sort that. I don't have the evidence to make those judgments. My point to you.

I honestly don't know what report you mean, I posted a few at the beginning. I can try to go back if you got keywords.

I did try The Young Turks, it does not show up before that thread though.

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released
Capitol Man 2:27 Sun Jan 20

What you need to pay attention is that you cannot argue with the straw man of my position. I see through that.

Thus Paragraph 2 and 3 don't matter. Saying it again does not matter to the argument. We will see later if they are actionable in regard to Trump - my position from the beginning.

Paragraph 4 -
What does opinion in quotes mean? Is it your opinion or not?
Generally though you are backtracking in your tone but you are again use Buzzfeed as an evidence. You say it is telling you what you want to hear. Making my point.

Paragraph 5 - Again not part of the argument and a huge logical leap. I used any of those words though.

What am I ignoring? You end with this a lot.

What on the list of “knows” don’t you believe.

The narrative that you outlined in the report on the media you posted, reflected in your obsession with young Turks.

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released

Yes - again, pay attention now, it’s really not difficult.

We know Cohen lied to Congress because he is going to prison for it.

We know he lied to cover for Trump who was lying publicaly about his business contacts in Russia and the Trump Tower Moscow project.
We know this because Guiliani has admitted it and you would have seen trump saying otherwise many times during the campaign.

My “opinion” is that Trump told Cohen to lie to congress, either directly or indirectly. What it says in the story is that internal communications and interviews gathered by Mueller offer direct evidence of that.

My putting things together to form an opinion does not in any way reflect some sort of mass media conspiracy or “witch hunt” against Trump which means it;smokmfor you to ignore shit you don’t like.
