Gavros

'Some sources such as FactCheck.org, PBS NewsHour, and The New York Times describe the report as detailing eleven episodes where Trump could have possibly obstructed justice; one episode as a presidential candidate or president-elect, and ten episodes while Trump was president:[37][38][116]'

Which is exactly what I said.

Of course Trump is a crook. He is a puppet of hostile interests as well.

Point is, at the moment he is destroying the set of relations that will allow the world to maintain liquidity and trade its way out of the next slump when it comes, so I want to see the opposition focusing on that.

He made it clear that it wasnt in his remit to decide whether or not Trump committed a crime. That's for the House to decide.

Anyone saying he said it wasnt criminal is either lying or didnt understand what he made clear in his press call.

Bit of a fanny really, they either were, or they weren't.

Still, it keeps cunts like Mong with his hard on for Trump going.

'I haven’t ignored them at all you moron. Did he not list numerous examples of obstruction of justice.'

Er, no. He gave examples of POSSIBLE obstructions of justice and what, in his opinion, were obstructions of justice that weren't criminal.

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released

Just don't see that. Have the house and numerous other bodies continue to investigate him and have the candidates set out a more positive vision. Warren is doing a great job of that right now, even if you don't agree exactly with her ideas. You can expect the others to do the same.

It's a pretty straightforward path to keeping the pressure on.

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released
Alfie has a point though - banging on about the Mueller investigation and impeachment is playing into Trump's hands, at least because every day that he remains in office can be presented as a success strengthening his supporters' resolve.

We're about to see a rate cut from the Fed and the new ECB president taking over from Draghi in October is getting ready to go beyond simple monetary policy to counter the increasing erosion of international cooperation that is the real policy agenda of the Trump "administration". So the Democrats and any opposition candidate really have their work cut out on the economy and international policy, and this is no time to let Trump set the agenda.

I haven’t ignored them at all you moron. Did he not list numerous examples of obstruction of justice. Explain in detail why it was department of justice policy not to indict a sitting president, and then refer it to congress at the appropriate forum for dealing with the matter?

What part of that are you saying isn’t true? Which is fucking weird in and of itself because you won’t read the report and yet seem absolutely certain what it says. Did you get that direct from the orange sphincter?

Cap Man,

Ignoring Muellers conclusions is where your argument falls flat......

No matter how dig you deep Mueller laid an egg, everyone knows it.

Perhaps if Mueller had the minerals to come back and say evidence shows guilt, you’d then have an argument to make, But it doesn’t, it says no collusion by Trump or any member of his campaign.

He then punted on Obstruction. Of course you know this which is why you won’t post it.
You have proven yourself to be a lying sack of shit and a total dumb bastard that has fallen for a hoax that most people spotted from the very beginning....

Such a dumb guy!

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released

Sorry Alfie, but that is utter gibberish based in you personal bias rather than reality. Trumps’ own polls that he first denied existed and then eased this week showed him trailing bided by double digits in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan, as well as losing by less to lower profile democrats like Harris. Those lesser-known candidates will only extend their lead as they become better known through the primaries.

The presidential race in 2020 will be about motivating that democratic base to vote. The dems have a larger base by far, but the gop voters are usually more motivated.

Trump changes that dynamic, as happened in the 2018 mid-terms.

There will be a lot of bickering in a competitive race, but voters will not be convinced to remain at home as they were in 2016.

Now, of course what you are reading likes to talk about the dems being in disarray, but one thing they do unite on is kicking the orange bloater out of office.

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released
Capitol - would you care for a wager on it?

If you channeled half the energy you do into destroying the incumbent into fashioning a credible robust opposition people could vote for - you'd possibly have an opposition.

This era of US politics is marked by the abject failure of the democrats to fashion an opposing cohesive voice. You rally around just trying to berate what you oppose. It is the politics of attack, clueless in constructive discourse.

You make Trumps job easy while wearing your rancour like a badge. You cannot see how hollow the tree you climb is because you snap its branches with your race to make it fruit with brickbats.

Forlorn hope. No flag to rally round.
