Shackled siblings found in Perris, California home
Fucking Weirdos

Two parents have been arrested in California after police found they allegedly kept their 13 children captive at home, some "shackled to their beds with chains and padlocks".

David Allen Turpin, 57, and Louise Anna Turpin, 49, were held on charges of torture and child endangerment.

The couple's children - aged two to 29 - lived in Perris, 59 miles (95km) south-east of Los Angeles.

Officers were alerted by one of the victims, a 17-year-old girl.

The girl - who appeared to be "only 10 years old and slightly emaciated" - on Sunday managed to escape and call the emergency number using a mobile phone found inside the house, the Riverside Sheriff's Department said in a statement.

What did police find in the house?
Police officers later found "several children shackled to their beds with chains and padlocks in dark and foul-smelling surroundings".

Haircuts aside, there an odd looking bunch that’s for sure, it won’t surprise me if they discover that the husband and wife are also brother and sister, the kids do have that inbred look about them!

Some of the story’s coming out are really strange, but some of the kids themselves are apparently happy as Larry and excited at all the attention????

Only in America!

California has a lot of laws that seem to allow a fair bit of wrongness to go on. Statute of limitations is one. It was removed for child abuse but clearly that left a lot of important people vulnerable to prosecution so it is back to 10yrs.

The whole private school thing is another that creates to big an opportunity for child abuse. Anyone can set up a private school ans anyone can send their child to a private school. Private schools in California are not subject to any checks from the authroties. Madness

If the children have documented their treatment, and if the parents haven't doctored their journals, then they will be huge pieces of evidence for the prosecution.

Their lawyer looks even weirder than they do.

Apparently the neighbours only ever saw the kids at night and thought they looked very pale, but apparently it didn’t occur to them that anything was wrong.

Let’s be honest, America is full of oddballs and a family of 13 kids wandering around at night like pale-skinned vampires is probably nothing unusual.

Neighbours must have known something wasn't right? 13 kids and no one noticed a thing?

They have just released a few more details about the horrific treatment those kid said suffered.

They have never seen a doctor or dentist.
They were allowed to shower once a year.
If they washed their hands and water went above the wrists then they would be chained up.
They didn’t know what medication or pills were.
Some of the kids didn’t know what a policeman was.
They were locked up in separate rooms.

What really was the most upsetting thing was the fact that the mother would go shopping and buy an apple pie and then leave it on the counter so the kids could just look at it.

I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that the 2 year old was conceived with one of his daughters.

The renewed they vows by Elvis every year in Vegas.

And if you think that this wasn't proof of them being huge Elvis fans... their kids were 'caught in a trap'

Says it all about cops in the USA that the cunt of a father was never arrested for having a hair cut liable to cause a breach of the peace, a fucking shocker

They look a right pair of odd cunts.

But fuck me. The neighbours knew they had at least 9 kinds and never fucking saw them. Surely you'd have a feeling something was not right.

Their kids were home schooled. Under California law they have to register as a private school to do so, which was their home.
