So he was there to watch several Norwich players who he has declined to name.

The best player on the pitch was Norwich's striker. He looked very good. Oliviera I think???

Just passing on the assertion.

"Categorically, I did not go to Stamford Bridge to watch Batshuayi or any other player in particular. I like to get out and watch plenty of matches, I hadn’t seen Norwich this season and there were some players there who had been mentioned to me as having been doing well."

Re: David Moyes at Chelsea game
TBF he is hardly going to say who he was there to watch, I highly doubt he was scouting Chelsea ahead of the game in April.

Not looking at anyone in particular according to his column today.

Yeah that is true and i agree its maybe a bit harsh to judge him when he is clearly low on confidence and only gets 10 mins here and there

Im just not sure that if he was doing what he has done in a Chelsea shirt for say Newcastle......Stoke.....or Soton etc would we be so open to the idea of signing him?

‘Chelsea ST holder here in my offfice says the exact same doesnt rate him one bit’

To be fair though, someone who grew up watching rugby and got into football in his 40s probably isn’t the best judge of a player.

Bat is a decent player but a comes across a bit arrogant. A manager who can get him onside could get a lot out of him I reckon. He's looked a bit lazy when I've seen him play recently tbh.

Quote from Moyes

“Categorically, I did not go to Stamford Bridge to watch Batshuayi or any other player in particular,” he said.

“I like to get out and watch plenty of matches, I hadn’t seen Norwich this season and there were some players there who had been mentioned to me as having been doing well.”

We are not going to spend a penny this transfer window so you all may as well give up speculating

Strikers need minutes.

Not many can operate with 10 / 15 minutes a game here and there.

Unless your name is Salvatore SCHILLACI.

One Mac

De Bruyne and also Lukaku went on loan and looked good. So I was surprised they sold them.

seen him a few times and he needs a run of starts ratber than 10 mins here and there
would be a good signing for us

Re: David Moyes at Chelsea game
Rossal - The thing is, their level is so much higher. They want/expect everyone to be like Drogba. They all hated Ramires, De Bruyne and also Lukaku to name 3 when they got opportunities.

A year ago we would have been buzzing to have signed him. I still would be.

Chelsea ST holder here in my offfice says the exact same doesnt rate him one bit

It'lll be a signing more in hope than expectation based on his Chelsea showing

Maddison looks a prospect would love to get him. Good competition for Lanzini whos ability and value should only increase

Re: David Moyes at Chelsea game
His goals to minutes ratio suggest he is a very decent striker, and with regular game time I don't see why he couldn't be good for us. Only coming on for the last ten minutes and playing cup games can't be great for a player's confidence or form.

Re: David Moyes at Chelsea game
Totally agree OM.

Those prawn sandwich cunts have had it too good with Drogba and probably comparing everyone to him.

He walks in our side.

Re: David Moyes at Chelsea game
I would take the BAT. I don't really care what Chelsea fans think. He's young enough to improve and I think he'd represent a good signing for a club like us.
