West Ham block loan move for Quina
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5342377/West-Ham-block-Domingos-Quinas-loan-Scunthorpe.html

I know there is a lot of board bashing going at the moment. So I don't want to add fuel to the fire. I just want to see what people think of this.

I am a bit on the fence. If we have an asset who another club wishes to use then I agree there should be a fee.

But on the other side I view loans as player development and to give the player experience and to ensure match fitness. So I wonder if our owners penny pinching will now affect this kids development.

Are they right or is it another case of their penny pinching weakening our squad in the long term?

He'll be on the bench the next few weeks

Any greviences Quina has should be with his agent. He could of moved deadline day to Sheff Utd if the agent hadnt of demanded a ridiculous fee

Id be surprised if the agent hasnt played a part in fucking this deal too

Coffee- You're comfortably the biggest drip on this board. Everytime someone puts up a wet post along you come putting your name against it. Like clockwork.

Maybe we should look closer at his agent considering he was the one that cost him his loan move in the last window.

Please be careful with those sensible posts, someone might think you're supporting the board.

Did they agree to pay the fee and then withdraw? Did we spring a fee on them at the last moment? I suspect the Mail doesn't know.

If it's because we need him, fine. If it's because we wanted £50, not fine.

Clearly some of you should never be in charge of a business.

Of course it doesn't cost the club a penny to run an academy and every club that wants to borrow our youngsters is skint!

I think that if you are loaning out an experienced player, like we have with Mario, then a fee is appropriate but if you are loaning out a youngster for some game time and to gain experience then just covering the wages should be sufficient.

In Quinas case the move would have been beneficial to him and us as he has looked a boy among men in his recent games.

Fuck me, a player we KEPT!

Squad is so thin he will probably make the bench for most of the rest of the season.

Should have let him go, he's far too weak for the PL anway at the moment.
