Alice Tinker RIP
Shame, I really liked her

How can you die of "natural causes" at the age of 53?

'Struggled splitting from her husband' sounds like a broken heart to me, and sadly it is not a joke some people can get Heart failure from depression and splitting with a partner depression is for some one of the deepest kinds.

She was a couple of years above me at drama school. I didn't know her that well but I do remember her being a very warm, kooky and lovely person.

Re: Alice Tinker RIP
Heart attack apparently. Not many 53 year old women die of a heart attack, bless her.

RIP, no age.

Re: Alice Tinker RIP
Knew her quite well, drank in my local in Battersea. Struggled splitting from her husband, forest fan, when he dumped her, appeared to not get over it. Otherwise great fun person in the main. Sad

Re: Alice Tinker RIP
Fair enough. And before anyone starts, I apologise for using the awkward term "commit" suicide. You know what I mean. She didn't do that anyway. Yes, very young. Funny lady.

Don't the lottery give some of their profits to "Natural Causes"?

Re: Alice Tinker RIP
I think it’s just curiosity
Normally someone of that age with cancer or any other disease will be described as dying after a ‘short illness’ or some such
Natural causes is normally a description reserved for an older person

Blimey proper shocker.... no age at all...

Re: Alice Tinker RIP
Don't get worked up over "natural causes" either!! Quite usual at any age: could include heart disease, cancer, leukemia, cystic fibrosis, loads. The family clearly regard it as a private matter. And should be respected as such.

They've said enough to make clear she didn't, for example, commit suicide. Maybe you were hoping for that?

There's some right weirdos on here.

Was great in Notting Hill too but I loved the jokes at the end of Dibley- especially the blind man one and of course, “I can’t belive it’s not I Cant Believe It’s Not Butter”!

No age and only weeks older than me. RIP

Don’t get too worked up or you will need to see a Doctor. Or Doctoress.

She was in that show about the Vicaress of Dibley, right?

Any explanation of ‘natural causes’ yet?

Re: Alice Tinker RIP
Yes, Arsegrapes, I assumed "actor Emma Chambers" was a man. Obviously.

Re: Alice Tinker RIP
A very funny Actress indeed, however try telling that to the gutter press these days who insist on forcing unnecessary confusing change for changes sake on our English language by describing both male actors and female actresses as actors regardless of sex.

Who the hell do they think they are, some sort of modern day William Shakespeare hipsters?

I didn't recognise the name, but having googled I remember her from Dibley. Another gone too young . RIP
