How we will concede to Burnley
Watching the Swansea debacle along with all of our other faillings it looked like they were going to score every time they got a corner or free kick. Our defence was all over the place and not for the first time this season. Looking at the situation with the central defenders ( Ginge out with hamstring , Reid who knows , Fonte sold ) it looks really dodgy for the Burnley game. We give away too many cheap corners and free kicks through poor decision making . Adrian has started flapping again and looked like his old self on Saturday before he got dropped for Randolph. Burnley have got quality delivery through that Brady and have watched them a few times ... Dyche has their set piece routines really well drilled. They're a big side anyway , 2/3 big centre halfs plus Barnes , Vokes and Walters and they've just got Chris Wood back who's about six five and gets on the end of everything. Put him up against Zaba or Cresswell at the far post and guess what happens next ..... we'll need to score more than one to get anything out of this game I think.

Burnley will know that they need to get men behind the ball and let us have possession. We try to come forward, they defend well and unless Arnie or someone can come up with a piece of magic, we will over commit lose it and get done on the counter attack with no one able to track back in time. In the States they call it "transition".

We struggle with it due to lack of pace and technical ability in the middle of the park. The fact that we now have no CBs means we are more likely to concede when exposed at the back.

We need Ogbonna back. Also Arfur needs to be forgiven and reinstated. His pace and Antonio on the other flank are 2 outlets along with Arnie up top.

There is no solving the central midfield problem. The squad is shocking and it beggars belief we did not replace Obiang. Mario is not and was never a replacement for Obiang. If we had spent well last summer ( Carvalho?) or this Jan ( Deaddonkey and whatever his name was ) we would be much better equipped to stay up. That is a statement of the obvious of course but it just shows how arrogant and ignorant Sullivan and Gold are. Moyes? Gawd knows if he had any influence? He said it was a weak area when he came in and has done nowt about it or not been allowed to?

Carroll to score a hat trick.
Obiang will play a blinder in the central of the midfield, and Reid and Ogbonna will fight off any attacks.

Out of interest, did anyone notice that Fonte’s team lost 8-0 on his debut?

Re: How we will concede to Burnley
Robbie Brady is still recovering from a serious injury I believe, but no doubt Burnley will find someone else to provide the corners and free kicks to embarrass our woeful defenders. Hopefully Collins and Ogbonna will be back to plug the gaps. Cresswell at CB is proving to be the calamity I predicted a couple of weeks ago.

You have to question why Sullivan took it upon himself to sell Ayew to one of our relegation rivals(I know he was pretty useless with us, but it was predictable he would go all out to fuck us up), and Fonte's sale has also proved to be untimely to say the least, with Reid appearing to be made of glass since his contract was extended.

Is there any way of blocking this thread for America?

What with all those guns out there, I fear someone's going to top themselves.
