I come in peace!!! Cancer has no colours
Hello all, now I know you all know the story of young Isla but I have set out to sign onto every clubs message board. Although I’ve not been allowed on all of them I’m now at the last one West Ham so I’ll post below the message I’ve posted on them all.

I don’t expect many donations if any as I know you have all donated via other avenues towards Isla’s fight.

*********

#Cancer has no colours

Firstly hello all and I hope it is ok with the moderators to post this.

My name is Tony Munday, I am a 49 year old unfit Millwall supporter (someone has to be) who is heading for the knackers yard. On Sunday March 18th I am running the Brentwood half marathon on behalf of a 3 year old little girl called Isla Caton who is suffering from the same horrible disease that took Bradley Lowery the boy who captured the nations hearts.
The disease is Neuroblastoma and the treatment for this is only available in America.

Last Tuesday young Isla had an operation to move a tumour from her brain and now goes back to chemo treatment to clear the cancer.
Through the Bradley Lowery foundation the family need to raise £400,000.

Here’s the catch.

Isla Caton is born into a staunch West Ham family and as a Millwall supporter I am using this as leverage to raise as much money for her as possible.
The rivalry between the two clubs is huge and I pray they lose every week.

I set my original target at £1000 and declared I would run in a West Ham shirt if reached. Due to having many West Ham friends who I have wound up over the years I reached the £1000 in 24 hours.
I added targets
£2000 to run in full kit
£3500 to do crossed hammers at finish line
£7000 to run with dyed claret and blue hair
I’ve topped the £7000 so the hair will be dyed, then raised to £12,000 as this girl needs as much as possible but that has also been reached. Now I’ve set it at £15,000.
The Bradley Lowery foundation is a marvellous tribute to the sadly missed youngster.

Normally I wouldn’t even look at a West Ham kit let alone wear one but I’m prepared for the stick I’ll get for the rest of my life so this amazing little girl gets what she needs. My pain will be nothing compared to what she is going through.
It’s a very small sacrifice for me to make.

I plan on joining forums of all 92 league clubs plus the 5 big Scottish clubs to post this message and hoping the football family come together to help smash this target and help send this incredibly brave little girl to America to save her life by donating to my just giving page.
Since I started joining the various forums a few days ago it has been a roaring success

In my eyes cancer has no colours especially in children.
Isla’s twitter address is @islasfight, feel free to look and see what she’s going through

Here is my just giving page below, hopefully you will find it in your hearts to donate to the cause through my run.
Forget the new £15,000 target lets smash it to as much as possible, this angel deserves a chance at life

I thank you all so much in advance

Well done mate absolutely brilliant doing that for a sick young kid and some things simply transcend football rivalries....Not that too many on here like to admit it but the average WH and Wall fans are not that different under the skin and what you did for that little girl is fantastic.... top man.

Well it’s all done and dusted, the day went really well and met and drank with some proper old school West Ham in the Vic afterwards.
Seemed like I brought you a bit of luck as well.

Anyway, just wanted to thank everybody on here for their support and donations. Smashed every target for Isla and hopefully once I post the photos on the other clubs Messageboards the total will rise a bit more.

Thanks again

Good work done by many.
.shame fortunate people in general can't be so generous to the many not so fortunate in this world.

These lives of ours mean fuck all...we are all on the same path..very few make a mark..I certainly won't. .and neither will you.

Be kind to others..

Re: I come in peace!!! Cancer has no colours
Can anyone provide an update?

isla is (presumably) still in the US. Was the money raised outside of Lion enough, and if so, how will Lion's GBP20k get used?

I'm not asking for specific accountability for funds, just asking what impact the original cash had (was it enough?) and how Lion's cash can also be used for this cause.

What's the timeline beyond Isla's return to the UK?

I have nothing left to give, wearing the kit and dying my hair will be bad enough.

I won’t sing bubbles, won’t kiss the badge and a tattoo is £200,000

Re: I come in peace!!! Cancer has no colours
No probs. The WHO fund has been burning a hole in my pocket for a while and this was a great cause to give to.

Hope other WHOers are ok with this.

Good to see 20k breached. The question is what you going to give to get it higher still?
