Much as I love the bloke for his service, I think his time at the club is coming to an end as a player. I'd keep him on as a coach to younger players though.

That second goal we conceded to Burnley made him look like an old Rodney Trotter

Ginge is whole hearted and sometimes inspirational but we need some younger defenders this summer...pace is important...
Fonte has gone but with Ginge and Zabaleta we've been ripped to pieces at times...not to mention Ogbonna who is younger but has no pace to speak of

Ginge will be fine today anyway......he won't be on the pitch.
I am expecting a great atmosphere but, as others have said, playing badly and go a goal down and the mood in the stands will change. The main problem might be, fans with opposing opinions, starting on each other.
With police in attendance I am not expecting any pitch invasions regardless of the result.

I'm not even reading it! I'm sick of players being used as mouthpieces by the club trying to stop negativity they caused in the first place.
If the team plays well the fans will get behind them quick enough even if they do chant "sack the board" while 3-0 up! The problem is the Toxic threesome!
