This should be a cracker of a tour, with England particularly coming into it on the back of morale-boosting form. Sachin reckons India's bowling attack is the most complete the team has had for many years. Looking forward to this! COYI

Looking at the press reports Stokes seems to be a right bell end! I like my sport stars to have a bit of character but he seems to be a complete cock! He wasn't such a billy big bollocks when that WI smashed him all over for us to lose the 20/20 WC!

I'd pick Stokes over Curran every day of the week. England are stronger for Stokes.

England should want to destroy India and gain revenge for their failure to know how to use hosepipes.

Re: England vs India 2018
As Bayliss said the decision to bring him back is all about the ‘well being’ of Stokes.

I notice that Root said leaving out Curran was the hardest decision that HE has had to make.
I presumed the selectors picked the team and the captain decides the batting order only.
Makes it sound like Root is given the 14 man squad and picks his own team.

What is it with Australia and wanting to cry infront of the cameras all the time?

Re: England vs India 2018
Was reading an article about Anderson possibly playing til he was 40 and they quoted Broad’s figures which apart from a short low a while back are still very very good over the last few years.
Buttler was brought back to do a specific job as a lower order destroyer who has the freedom to play his shots and get the scoring rate going .... sort of like an Adam Gilchrist , but with an effeminate manner. This obviously isn’t going to come off all the time.
But if you are winning then it’s worth having.
Especially when you have some bowlers like Stokes, Curran , Woakes etc who can bat to fall back on.

Don't really get dropping Curran for stokes.

Curran is a better player for me.

Re: England vs India 2018
I see Bayliss said he thought Stokes would / should make a statement to the public after he apologised to his team mates.
Is this going to be an actual press conference where he speaks and answers questions or just some PR statement written by Andrew Strauss pretending to be Stokes?

Yeah but he has strengthened our ATTACK !

We've weakened our batting given Stokes' lack of form.

Utterly bewildering that Curran has been dropped for that thug Stokes

Re: England vs India 2018
It’s a GOLDEN era
England have their best two bowlers of all time and their best batsman. And a captain who will likely finish with similar runs to the best batsman
Magical era of wonderful players

It’s like Australia having Warne, McGrath, Ponting & S Waugh in their team currently.
If only we could be THAT fortunate

I found Jimmy to be a very nice chap the couple of times I chatted to him, to be fair.

If you're looking for a misery, look no further than Athers.
