Passwords
Just got a message advising me to have a different password for every site, in the light of the BA data leak. How the fuck am I supposed to remember all these hard-to-guess words and which goes with which site?

I've only got three passwords.WHO gets its own special one... it's not that I don't trust it, but... yeah, but no

*Little Known Fact*

An international initiative means that since 2016, all major browsers will now not allow you to type your username and password combination into any website, message board or 'chat' software. If attempted it will display the first and last characters of the password only. Watch this:-

I use KeePass to store them all, that way I only have to remember one password.

gph,

I use a program called last pass, you can install it in your browser and on your phone. it stores your passwords securely and then when you are on a site that requires your details you click on the username field and it will ask if you want to use the password stored.

Re: Passwords
Think of a phrase

Take the first letter from each word

Replace I for 1, A for 4, E for 3, O for 0

Take the first letter of the site and make this the first letter for the password

Uppercase your own chosen letters

Now you have a password for every site

Eg , if you phrase was Rosie The Dog Always Loves Bungs In Monaco and the site was Westhamonline your password would be

WrtD4lB1M

If it’s facebook the password is

FrtD4lB1M

You will never forget your password again.

I've got a GREAT idea!

Let's just have ONE password for the whole world. Then, if you forget it, just ask the first person you see. Simples!
