Icehouse were big in the 80s.
Australia had a big scene then. Many good bands. Most aren't really known in the UK.

Coincidentally I was listening to Adam and the Ants recently too. Wasn't a fan in the day, but I got listening to someone's 1981 playlist.
Another song I found was one which was big in Australia and nowhere else, despite being a British band formed by former members of Dexy's Midnight Runners. Band was The Bureau, song was Only for Sheep. I'm sure there's a joke to be had..

That's weird.
I was changing the strings on a guitar earlier today, and after tuning up, I found myself playing/trying to remember how to play the riff to Rock Bottom. Probably haven't played it for 20+ years?
