Kerfuffle booby Moore 252-253 stand today
About 15 chaps not allowed back into their seats after half time. During the first half someone apparently texted the hotline due to some bad language and the stewards took action. Cue lots of swearing and posturing.

it is not how he sings bubbles but the way he chants Come on You Irons very very loud and the wrong rhythm which causes much mirth with many around us

a few chucked out for "homophobic" chanting at the Fulham game.
Apparently they were chanting "Rent Boys" to the Fulham fans,
So whatever you do, don\\t sing "Come On You Irons" anymore.
Everyone should text the grass number all through the game.

'When I take my grandson to football I don't expect him to be sheltered from swearing and certainly not signing and chanting.'

You're right. And it's true, those deaf and dumb cunts are definitely the worst.

Apart from being a MASSIVE FUCKING CUNT see BRANDED 11.51 I am also somewhat old school. Old enough to have stood in the North Bank and seen grown men - hairy dockers telling others to watch their language when a woman had dared to stray on to the terraces. You would have been ill advised to refuse to comply.

Of course I know the world has changed. The ME society does what it wants. When I take my grandson to football I don't expect him to be sheltered from swearing and certainly not signing and chanting. Infact he makes more noise than most at the Fulham game he had about three rows joining in with his somewhat idiosyncratic version of COYI.

What I object to is some loud mouth prick imposing their values of mindless abusive on the pair of us for the whole
game.

I hope my grandson grows up with self control and that if he swears at people it is a possible prelude to someone taking offence and physical violence. Except of course on WHO where nothing matters.

I fear for the next generation, they're all going to be fucking snowflakes.

It won't fly with the modern football experience providers, but a massive part of going football on a Saturday afternoon was to let off all the steam that had built up during the week. You spend the whole week minding your Ps and Qs, resisiting chinning your boss or throwing your wife or kids out the window, so the one place you could safely let off the tension without anyone getting hurt was at football.

If we don't let it out at football, it will come out another time. What I'm saying is, this new world of football is putting our families and bosses in grave danger.

It's coming to something if you can't have a good old swear up.
Thank fuck I don't go anymore.

I don't mind the odd swear word but I can recall sitting in the east stand with my son and his mate (about 9 years old) with 2 blokes and a woman behind us who literally f'd c'd w'd as soon as we kicked off non-stop till half time people around me thought it was extreme but said nothing... And when I confronted them they told me not to bring kids to the game. I spoke to a steward who did nothing.. The irony was there was a sign in front of us which said Thank you for not swearing!!!

I don’t get that at all, it’s the way you bring up your kids. I’m 28 and don’t sweat in front of the old man and vice versa. It’s a respect thing.

Bad language at football is just part and parcel, if you can’t teach your kids right and wrong then you’re doing something wrong.

It's not difficult to educate your children to know if they go football they'll hear words they're not allowed to use.

Good Grief.

Re: Kerfuffle booby Moore 252-253 stand today
The first thing I did when I started taking my 5 & 6 year old kids to West Ham back in the days of UP was to explain to them that this was a football match not the opera, and they were going to hear "naughty" words that they were not to repeat at school and not to tell their mum that they new. All sorted in one 5 minute conversation.

It never crossed my mind to object to adults shouting singing and swearing. Isn't that half the point of going to live football? Why take kids for an experience and then change the experience because it offends your personal sense of propriety. This is what happens at football. If you don't like it then don't go - or don't take your kids.

If you don't want kids to hear beastly words, don't take them to fucking football.

Easthammer .... was told whole Stadium was ‘family friendly’ when we got ours. Didn’t mind as I had more than 20 years in BML but interesting they didn’t address this. That said the Family Enclosure at UP was above the away fans and you could hear - and see - the taunting from the East side ... there is a danger of too much sanitising of crowds at football.

I take my young grandson to matches. When we chose our seats I was given a couple of areas to choose from that might be consider more "family friendly". Unlike the Boieyn there isn't a family zone. A big mistake.

with over 10,000 kids season tickets, time you add in the accompanying adults, you'd need a family area that took up about 1/3 of the ground
