Knowing what you know now....would you still want the OS move?
Nearly 3 full seasons in the OS, and the mystical "next level" still seems to be years away.

Just wondered if the osers still milling about on here would still be for the move, if you know what you know now.

To me, most of what the DRUIDS predicted was spot on tbh and the owners are still the same old penny pinchers they have always been. Would be good to bring up the old OS thread and have a read through again to see if any of the claims have come true.

For me the summer transfer window will tell you everything you need to know as people like Carroll will be off, so let's see if his wages are used elsewhere. I also think they'll sell Rice...

When I phoned to get my tickets for the Southampton game I asked about season tickets for me and my two boys and was told the waiting list is estimated to be 3 years

The OS has just shown how big we are in terms of potential. Poxy ground, no success and still massive support.
There's been more than a few games at the OS that have been up there with the best at UP but when it;s shit it fucking feels it.
At least leaving UP after a shit game you wasn't pissed off at the old girl for being a popcorn selling, no bookies to stick a bet on, pick n mix cunt.

It is what it is.

It's not great but I go to watch the team, not really interested in the concrete and steel.

You have a choice, either go or don't go.

I wish I could use some quantum science shit to go back to the day I signed up to club London and tell myself “don’t be a cunt”

Re: Knowing what you know now....would you still want the OS move?
Well if those figures are kosher than there are thousands of ST's who don't ever turn up. So the club need to put a stop to it by cancelling these ST's and not allowing them to renew, unless they have very good reasons for not attending games. It strikes me that these no-show merchants aren't WHU supporters and won't be missed.

According to Brady there is a waiting list of thousands so this lot can take up the slack and hopefully ensure a fuller stadium in future. Unless she's been economical with the truth about the numbers, in which case just put them out for general sale to youngsters at £10 a game. We need more youngsters in there.

Yes, that’s what the FOI requests have shown in the past.

Re: Knowing what you know now....would you still want the OS move?
So according to that around 13,000 people who've bought ST's etc don't bother turning up. I still think it's bollox.

Re: Knowing what you know now....would you still want the OS move?
No, it’s based on FOI requests made about actual attendances.

When they've attended - what does that mean? A couple of blokes from Newham Council (with free tickets) make an estimate of the crowd and we're expected to believe it's averaging 42,000.

I'm no supporter of the bowl, but on the few occassions I've got there the place always looks fairly full and well above 50,000, never min 42k.

Sounds like some made up bollocks to prevent us expanding the capacity.

That’s astounding!

Re: Knowing what you know now....would you still want the OS move?
From last season
"Newham council says the average attendance at West Ham was 42,779 based on the 12 games it attended - which is 12,530 fans fewer than the club's season average figure of 55,309."

Roughly the capacity of UP with a new East Stand !

Re: Knowing what you know now....would you still want the OS move?
We are not any better than when we left Upton park in 2016.

Many fans were only willing to sacrifice our history and culture for future success. I dont see any sings of that happening.

Disaster.

Haven't even yet been.

Still, I think I will wait until the 97 years left on the lease have passed before I make a decision.
