Joey Chump?

Got to be up there for what the fuck is happening boss

Billy Bonds...?
. Legend of a player.
. Legend of a man

Got a touch when wonky rolled up.. Otherwise he would have faced to ole tin tac.. Or death by umbongo.. which wouldnt have sat right.

Bond scheme we were insistent.. Bonds knew we weren't fuckin about.

Lou Macari replacing the late greatJohnny LYALL sacking fiasco.. always goin bandy.
Bonds was the only man to steady the good ship WHU.
Ironically.. Maraci bought some players that went on to become rather popular

showed my son footage of Brooking. Despite the reputation he was hard, he had to be as he got battered in those days they used to kick the shit out of him. Declan Rice reminds me of him how he runs with the ball, just sort of glides over the grass. Mad dog was brilliant but you never knew how long he would stay on the pitch!

Mad as a box of Frogs I recall him being injured when we played Millwall at the Old Den and cos there was no space in the dug out he jumped in the adjacent seats with the Pikeys plod thought he should leave and escorted him out.

makes you realise how blessed we were to see those players on the pitch. I have seen Brooking, Bonds, Brady, Van der Elst, Cottee, Macavennie, Goddard (the best out of all our strikers), Dicks, Ferdinand, Carrick i could go on but who could forget the legend that is Carlton Cole

I still remember the 30 yarder he scored against the scouse cunts back in ‘94 after about a minute. Of course, we still got turned over.

Only highlights but clearly highly talented. Played at a time when I'd lost interest a bit, so thanks for that.

Re: Martin Mad Dog Allen
Much more talented than many thought as you can see by some of those goals.
And someone who always gave EVERYTHING he had

Loved that goal towards the end at Highbury.
Great day. The tormenting of Ian Wright who had to be taken off because he got so wound up was immense.
He was raging at the Arsenal fans who sat mute during the endless choruses of Ian WANK WANK WANK

Re: Martin Mad Dog Allen
Ray atteveld on loan from the scouse at full back that night I always remember for some bizzare reason.

Yes agree his goal against Wimbledon was a great moment I'm sure the whole ground moved from it foundations when it went it.

Eric

I completely agree.

Fuck this plastic, bullshit modern game.

Thank you for this. Brilliant video which makes me sadly nostalgic for what seemed a better time. BAC Windows, the old South Eastern Electricity advertising boards around the Boleyn pitch...modern footie can go fuck itself

His winner v Wimbledon was one of my top three Upton park moments.

On a par with Saturday for sheer joy

Only time he looked out of his comfort zone was when Justin Fashanu jumped on him.

Show this to anybody who is adamant Sky, money and the PL have upped the standard of football.

That was the second tier and saw more attractive attacking play in that montage than I've seen in years.
